Hello cousins, I’ve recently decided to start my own homebrew under the Dark Angels or Black Templars codex as it fits my homebrews theme.

I want to play a lot with dreadnoughts, terminator spam, or with tanks such as the repulsive executioner, but i’m unsure if there are any good lists surrounding them or methods of playing.

I know rule of cool and I’ll create my own list of them anyway, but any tips/tricks on how to utilize them or a good list would be greatly appreciated

I’m looking for the most fun lists you’ve ever played while being somewhat decent. I don’t plan to be entering any tournaments soon and just plan to play against my friends Lamenters.

As of now, I plan to keep Angron, the Slaughterbound and its following exalted in deepstrike later turns 2-3. I plan to use Kharn, the berzerkers, and a rhino to charge up as much as possible while the defiler and forgefiends provide cover fire and soften his forces up m. Jackals provide screening and home objective control

Currently have a brick 10 BLTs and have the combat patrol on the way. Asides from a paintbrush, is there anything else you recommend me pick up?

Kinda going for a more terminator-heavy list, so any recommendations or thoughts would be appreciated!

UPDATE: Just got the Vile Vectorium Battleforce as well

First time ever painting Death Guard, a lot less trim than I had expected, least coming from painting World Eaters.

Had a lot of fun painting this, took maybe ~25-30 minutes. Definitely not the best, but I do like the results first time around. Super excited to get the rest of the squad done!

Hello cousins, just joined the Death Guard coming from World Eaters and Emperors Children.

I just bought two boxes of the blightlord terminators because I was thinking of leaning into a more terminator-heavy army, so I was wondering how you suggest I should equip them or run them in 1x10 or 2x5

Would the new Spearhead box for AOS be good for someone starting the Carnival detachment? I haven’t played it, so to those who have, I wonna know your thoughts

I use a lot of Martian Ironcrust and corks for basing my World Eaters, thing is that since I have ~7k points worth of them to base, I don’t want to continuously spend so much just on such a little amount.

Anyone have any advice on similar/more cost effective alternatives?
