Product return question

I bought an item online that comes with a free gift and want to return it BUT I bought the same item in store the same day anyway because it wasn’t come in time for what I needed it for (It’s gonna be a gift) and I actually already opened the one I bought in store to see if the item was all good (only reason was because I had this happen to me ONE TIME where I got something in store and the item was broken when I bought it, so now I always check to make sure everything’s good & not broken plus I’m gonna rewrap it anyways)

I was looking to take both items in store just to show that I DO INDEED have 2, the already opened one from in store purchase and the online unopened one that comes with a gift. I’m wondering if I can return the online that comes with the gift but keep the gift because I DID buy the same item and that should technically come with a he gift, it was just not purchased online to get the gift. Plus when I asked about the bag in store they said they didn’t have anymore to give so technically purchasing it I’m store returning the online one I should be allowed to keep the gift after all, I DID buy another one in store and they didn’t have it in store to give me.

The only reason why I’m so adamant about keeping the one I already opened is because I already opened it to check to see if the item is ok or not. I also really don’t wanna go thru the hassle with the in store because the online one isn’t opened and it would be easier to return something unopened anyways.

OK so I wanna get a gaming laptop sometime this year (might wait until Black Friday or Christmas to get one as those times are the cheapest) And after doing a SHIT TON of research. I have come to the conclusion that I want a Lenovo Legion gaming laptop as I can’t afford to build a PC for at least the next 5 to 10 years 😭

My use would be light gaming and video editing using davinci resolve. The heaviest game I’d play would be Marvel Rivals. I do have a PS5 for that but it’d be nice to have something for on the go like when visiting family in another state or something.

I want to preface that I’m pretty sure these are literally the same except for the color of the laptops and that one I’ve customized to have more storage. I’m just getting 32 gig ram because I honestly think it’d be smart to save 64 gig ram for a proper PC set up, even then I think that’s unnecessary but if I’m building this PC in the future, I might as well go all in with 64 😅

Also, I have considered getting a Pro 5i with a 5070ti graphics card and just customizing it to have more storage (2TB) but figured I might as well get something that’s more upgradable in the future. So what do you guys think?

Thanks in advance!

EDIT: Apparently these are the same. The only difference is that the Best Buy one is trying to sell the laptop for $200 extra for USB port adapter!
