Futher Maths? Beneficial for Nuclear Engineering?

I’m 15 years old and will be doing my Edexcel International A Levels in Sri Lanka, with my exams planned for 2030. I’m planning to do Physics ,(P1–P4), Mathematics (M1–M2), as my other modules for Combined Mathematics. I’m considering whether I should take a fourth subject, even though it isn’t necessary for my qualification. My dream career is to become a nuclear engineer, so I’d like to know whether taking a fourth A-Level subject would be important or beneficial for getting into a good university and pursuing nuclear engineering. If it would make a significant difference to my university applications or future career opportunities, I’m willing to take the extra subject; otherwise, I’d prefer to focus on my main subjects and achieve the best grades possible. What would you recommend for someone in my situation?

Schols from international universities. But how can i go with these ticket prices from SL airlines

So i participated in a Quantum Mechanics competition and i think i won.(junior level,all the math was university level and I'm only 15years old. So everyone else who were younger can win even with lowers scores)

And received some schols.

But can i even attend these?

Will these help?

Especially if i want to be a Nuclear Engineer?(I'm thinking operations side so like operations engineer in a NPP)

Oh Hustle! What a splendid job you did!

Oh hustle! What a splendid Job you have done!

Absolute bangers by hustle for this year's World cup!

As a german fan(germany is going to god damn win this wc.

I can feel it in my bones! Auf geht's Deutschland!)

I was ASTONISHED seeing the German WC Tee!

I ordered the offcial german one aswell as the Swedish,Scottish,and swiss one from the official store but what the hell this is way better.

Germany,Italy,Argentina,Brazil,France and England these were the Only countries there.

And I'm pretty sure those are the only ones.

All the Tees are spectacular!

I'm not even exaggerating.

German= 10/10

Italy= 9/10

Argentina=8.5/19

Brazil= 8/10

France= 7/10

England= 6.5/19

Above are my ratings from best to mid(notice how i didn't say worst)

Kinematics...

Kinematics...

Hi,I'm a 15yo from sri lanka and we have physics for the first time in our syllabus and started with kinematics.

And evenryone absolutely despises it.

Including me.

Now its not the math but i think its the theory i don't understand. But is there any theory.

I'm a mathlete.

Basically i went to countless competitions for math olympiads and quantum mechanics and I've won half of them.

Yet i can't understand basic kinematics.

How the hell do i even get better at it?

And as a aspiring nuclear engineer does kinematics even matter for my dream career?

Elatine triandra!

Anyone growing elatine triandra? The background stem plant is elatine triandra btw.

Some are floating.

And for a stem plant grows pretty well.

What are the pros of keeping this plant?

My Aspiration to Work in Nuclear Power Plant Control Room Support Roles!

I am a 15 year old student from Sri Lanka, and I would like to know whether foreigners are eligible to work in a nuclear power plant, particularly in roles that are adjacent to or closely support control room operations. Ever since I was 10 years old, I have been fascinated by control rooms and the critical role they play in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of complex facilities. What began as a childhood curiosity has grown into a genuine passion and a long term career aspiration! I am highly interested in nuclear energy and the technology, responsibility, and teamwork involved in operating a nuclear facility. Working in or around a control room environment has been a dream of mine for years, and I would be grateful for any information regarding opportunities and pathways for a Sri Lankan citizen to pursue such roles in the future.

(I even gave TED talks related to this)

Carcinology!

Hi,I'm a nuclear engineer.

I don't know anything about bio since it's not really intretesting to me as nuclear physics is but I'd love to know about it..

It's a niche subject so,it would be even harder to learn sbout it online.

What's wrong with my sponge filter in my shrimp breeder tank?

So as you can see the filter is barely producing any bubbles.

However i have noticed that 1whenever my mystery snail is on the filter it suddenly produces more bubbles?

I'm guessing the filter is too small for my tank....

Anyone interested in Nuclear physics and Quantum mechanics? I'm only 15 and i just finished studying the basics. But i need a bigger challenge and someone to tutor or help me for more advanced Quantum mechanics and Nuclear Physics.

2026 zonal rules. Will this result in a disqualification?

Hi,i wanted ask whether writing my school name and my own name on my creative writing essay will result in a disqualification.

I always get selected to creative writing for zonals since grade 6 and till this year(I'm in grade 10 now)

And this is the 2md time I've went,all the others times i was sick or i had exams,so i missed alot of opportunities.

But i searched MOE rules of 2025 and it said writing schoop name or personal name MIGHT result in a disqualification...

I wrote 3 pages just for me to be disqualified for writing my school name qnd own name...

I was too busy writing i don't even remember if they said to not write my school,and I'm pretty surr they didnt say anything about it,but i can't trust them...

My brain is taking its adrenaline out on these small issues lol

As a Sri Lankan student doing English Literature, I’m trying to evaluate my current performance with a bit of an analytical mindset. I just got my firstterm Grade 10 paper back and scored 87%, while a friend got 76%, and I’m tied with a few others at the top of the section. On paper, that’s a solid result, but considering this is an earlystage assessment, I expected my output to be closer to maximum efficiency. So I’m wonderingdoes 87% indicate I’m on the right trajectory, or is there still a noticeable gap between my current level and where I could realistically be? It feels like I might need to fine

tune my approach and put in more focused effort to push that margin higher.
