I dont know why this WIPRO pays so less to an entry level role 2.2lpa can u imagine how can people survive on 2.2lpa totally like pathetic u study hard all these years to secure a good job and when u go for the interview they say we can only pay u ₹17000 like imagine being an adult u have to see your family feed them and also take care of your expenses this is like pure exploitation they will make you work your ass of and provide you so less, a blue collar job will pay more then this.
Same with my colleagues in tech dept. They are now entirely writing their codebases with AI. They are not even reading the client requirement or the error logs . just put everything in AI and let it sort out . If i point to one file and asks what it does , they have no clue and they are building enterprise level solutions for clients.
Also I cannot refrain from using AI. I am now working with 2-3 clients simultaneously with very tight timelines. The project which i signed off would have normally taken 3-4 months with a team of at least 5-6 people. Instead it was done in 5 weeks with a team of 3 ( with the manager just presenting . So net only 2 people )
I don't really know what the future holds and how things will turn up 🤷♂️. I am feeling i am just becoming a prompt monkey with time. Anyone else feeling the same ?

My contract got terminated recenlty all of a sudden due to not enough projects available to work on. I was working on a US healthcare startup.

I work as an Individual Contributor in a US startup. I joined this company full time on January 2026. I was working on a part-time basis before that.
On march 6th, 2026 I was on a holiday and attending a family wedding. On the mornign of 6th March I got an email in my office Outlook account.
The scammer who pretended to be my boss asked for a quick favour from me.
He asked me for my whatsapp number and said he'd instruct the rest there.
The eaxct tone and choice of words he used matches with my boss. So I was somehow convinced. Then asked me to purchase some gift cards from Amazon because he was letting go of some the employees in India and also convinced me that he will reimburse the whole amount shortly.
In the next few hours he shared me couple of emails and asked to purchase the gift cards for them. The amount in total came around 78,800 rupees. Later that night itself I came to know that I got scammed when I talked to my boss.
Reaction from the Organisation:
They were supportive verbally and offered to help me by paying some amount if I work double hours.
Action I took: Reported immediately to ICICI credit card support, blocked and placed a new card delivery. Reported to amazon customer support about this impersonification fraud.
The next morning I went to the police station straight after staying awake the whole night in shock. Lodged a general diary in my local police station and cyber crime department.
Also visited ICICI bank but the manager and lodged complaint from there as well.
Followed up with Cyber Cell department for the next two weeks, got no resolution. After 3 weeks they said nothing can be done as all the gift card amount is being used and only were able to retrieve 690/-, 119/- rupees.
Amazon said the same thing that they are not able to retrieve the amount.
I lost all hope at that point of time and thought I will not get the money back. Fast forward to July the change in political scenes in West Bengal has changed a lot and the police have become quite active than before too.
If I want to take on this case now what should I do?
I could still really benefit from the amount. Someone please help!
