One time a coworker told me it's sad that I don't have passion about work. I don't think it is. Is it?

One time I had a coworker who said this to me:

"It seems like you don't act very passionate or enthusiastic about work. Like, you don't talk with enthusiasm, act outgoing, upload a profile picture, or do things like that. Why?".

Then I responded with:

"I just think working at a corporate job is just dumb basically. Like, a bunch of people worry or stress themselves out about getting promotions. Then a bunch of the people who get promotions don't really seem the most qualified. Then companies can lay people off at anytime randomly. Like, I could go to a company bowling event today and get laid off the next day. I just think that's really dumb so I just don't care lol. I guess I just think there's a big world outside of work too. I just kind of care about getting paid and maybe socializing with 3 coworkers. Feeling this way has always let me keep my stress level at work low. It's not that I don't try at work. It's that I just don't let work stress me out"

Then I'm pretty sure I heard her cry some when I said this is a response.

I don't think this is that sad at all. Some people in the world don't have jobs or find it hard to get jobs.

$78 sticker stamped on top of the original $68 lol

I got the white dance studio shorts on markdown for $29, and noticed the $78 sticker covering the original price tag. Well, it may not be easy to tell bc I’m brutish and tore the whole thing but sure enough it was covering the original price of $68.

$78 for dance studio shorts was CRAZY, and so is the audacity of that $10 increase and that stupid little sticker. Ridiculous

Aligns are cat claw-proof!!!

I was trying to get my sweet baby into her carrier for her annual checkup this morning, but of course she was very stressed and had her claws out. She scratched me all over, including on my legs, but I was surprised to see that there was no hole on my Aligns!!! Just my blood seeping through 😩

So there you have it, these things are soft but surprisingly resistant! I’ve definitely had Aerie leggings ruined this way in the past.

These are my Align leggings in Iron Blue from 2024 (so not even the old quality)!

Cat tax included - she’s so offended I would try to do this to her 😭

Old Moonlight Rollers from 2021 (RIP - they’re working great for me though), and Radar Energy Wheels (65mm outdoor wheels - forgot exact durometer) with bones roller bearings!

Very comfortable and stable!
