All you need is access to your/any college email to verify and you will have access to 10 pre-selected skins you get to trial for a season for free and the best part is that it changes every season! Sometimes they hit, sometimes they miss with the selections but they highkey cooked with this season’s batch of hero skins I can’t even lie

Ok so this one was esp funny to me because I was trying to make a meme about how Rocket was only one of 2 season 0 healers without a VFX. Technically, this is true as Rocket doesn’t have a single VFX option to purchase on any skins but this is only bc NetEase have gone ahead and given ALL Rocket skins either a recolor, a slightly varied alternative, or a completely unique C.Y.A amplifier! Best part of it all is that it’s FREE 99 as long as you have that skin. I wish I had the limited Christmas skin to show off in this post, but these were the only (free) skins I had available to show off 😭 W NetEase

Black Cat BBL, Black Widow BBL, Black Panther BBL next? 🫣 get on it, NetEase

Idk how it’s possible that NetEase has continued to allow BW to be trash for 8 seasons, 9 if you include Season 0! No buffs, literally nothing since April 11, 2025. I bought this skin in support of hopefully showing NetEase that people genuinely still do care about this hero and that I at least want to see them do something about it! Why even develop a hero to just completely ignore its existence when it comes to gameplay? Re-kit, re-tooling, buffing, anything but something has got to give and this is me doing my part by advocating!

It lasted a total of 18 days, not even 3 weeks 😭, but WOW was it incredibly fun. I’m my opinion, it’s genuinely the best LTM in Marvel Rivals bc I’ve never played anything like it before. Every other game mode is fighting for #2 place 😂 I think the only other one that comes remotely close is the OG Marvel Zombies PVE gamemode, NOT Bloodhunt. When’s the next time you think we will see Battle Matrix?

I can’t be the only one who sees it, right? 😂 this was the best way I could describe it, I legit haven’t been able to unsee it since Groot’s new free skin came out

Captain America, leader of the Avengers, is a tank. Even Mr. Fantastic, the leader of the F4, is a DPS/Tank hybrid. As a tank main, I can not emphasize how disappointing it is to see Cyclops as a DPS. I would’ve loved running a Cyclops/Cap front line 😭 Apologies to all my future tank teammates, I will be insta-lock Cyclops for the foreseeable future 😬

New heroes like Deadpool and Black Cat have really changed up the meta and the way the game is played! These heroes have the ability to buy upgrades/abilities in-game that directly impact their gameplay to help make their hero better. I think it’s an interesting take from NetEase to spice up the gameplay, but I can’t help but imagine how different Season 0 heroes would be if they released TODAY!
I wanted to highlight Doctor Strange for this post. Considering Doctor Strange is the SORCERER supreme in most continuities, he is pretty powerful! The potential magic/spell upgrades possibilities for him could be seemingly unlimited. With the always increasing, endless power creep in Marvel Rivals, I do hope that NetEase eventually gives the launch heroes some type of re-kit/additional abilities in order to continuously remain competitive in the future!

Ngl this one had me thinking 🤔

One of the main arguments I hear why certain heroes don’t get skins is bc “NetEase doesn’t make skins for heroes that don’t get play”. Objectively false lol bc CnD is the #4 most played hero, according to Rivals Tracker! Considering CnD has literally been among the most played supports in the game since the games launch, they suprisingly don’t have as many skins as you may think.

This year alone, Invisible Woman got 3 skins already (Prism Parade, Riann Landau: The Debater, and Will of Galacta) and Luna Snow did too (Sonic Trailblazer, Disco Pop, Park Sun-Young: The Dancer). Even White Fox, who got released 2 months ago lol, already technically got 2 new skins (Yoon Ji-woo: The Debater and Secret Agent)

As a season 0 hero, CnD has among the lowest skin count at only 7 skins, 2 of them released at launch. To put that into perspective, Daredevil, a season 4.5 hero that has been out literally half that time, has more skins than CnD at 8 total skins. For even greater reference, Hulk and Black Widow, the meme heroes who are literally known for not getting skins, each have 6 and 7 skins total, respectively.

So what gives? 🤔

Lmaooo where do I even begin? This is Iron Man’s 5th legendary skin with NO ULT VFX or Chromas while everyone’s “favorite” hero Psylocke just got her 5th legendary. EVERY single one of Psy’s 5 legendary skins has both a ULT VFX and Chromas option.
Inb4 someone’s says you can’t change the color of a Nuke 😂🥱 give me a break, ANYONE who thinks that Iron Man can’t have a cool ULT VFX lacks severe creativity. Invis’ Ult literally changes color and adds extra elements to make it unique. NetEase are creative geniuses, I KNOW they can do something really cool bc they have literally done it for other characters! I hope NetEase is motivated to retroactively add chromas or an ULT VFX, they already did it for IronFist’s lion skin 🤞
I hope I am not redoing this meme AGAIN when both heroes get their eventual 6th legendary! Real ones remember this meme I made months ago when they were both at 4 legendary skins 🙂‍↕️🤫

Today is May 30th, 2026 and 1 year ago today, Ultron released as the launch hero for Season 2.5’s mid-season update on May 30th, 2025! Making this meme made me realize how much I’ve missed Ultron’s Battle Matrix Protocol and realize how LONG it’s been since it ended?! It ended June 23 so it’s been almost a year which is crazy bc it was so good! Who else got those exclusive Ultron emojis 👀 Genuinely a phenomenal LTE gamemode that went came and went wayy too fast. Hot take but it’s highkey more fun than Blood Hunt and I won’t apologize. Bring it back!
Ultron has always been a niche hero so I’m not entirely surprised his pick rate has dropped so much in quickplay since his debut season. He won’t ever be the best strategist but he is still incredibly valuable and still one of my favorite characters to play!
To my Ultron mains, I’m always go back to rocking that X-Tron skin. It’s such a clean skin, it’s my #1 favorite!

Usually I have a whole yap session in the description but not today! I do think it’s hilarious how Black Cat got a legendary skin + chromas within a month of being released but we have heroes from over a year+ who don’t get afforded same treatment. Marvel Rivals is never beating the allegations 😂 say what you want about the lack of play for Black Widow and Human Torch and them maybe not deserving legendaries (absolutely ridiculous), but Ultron has been very good this season, especially in triple support, and has gotten a substantial amount of play. Every hero has its fanbase, I don’t think it’s fair to starve them bc their hero isn’t among the favorite. I’m here to advocate for the heroes that don’t make as much noise as the more popular ones; Black Widow, Human Torch and Ultron are deserving of at least 1 legendary skin and it’s about time they get one!

Alright, I read the comments on my last post and I hear you all! Bundles/discounts isn’t really FOMO, especially if the skins individually stay on the store after the time bundles expire. Got it! But limited skins are FOMO so let’s go through my personal top 3 limited timed skins!
Am I being a bit fastidious when I say these skins might never come back? Perhaps! Maybe they do eventually after enough time has passed. Or maybe they never do. Queen in Black and the Fleeting Butterfly, in particular, are both premium legendary skin rewards from Event Passes which connected directly into their respective season and lore. Lady Loki’s debut in Season 6 was also connected directly to the story via the Collector and despite getting her duration extended twice, she was still removed from the store. It leads me to believe that unless there is lore reason for these skins to return, these skins have lowkey been shelved for the time being. We have seen a few old Battlepasses return and no previous Event passes have made a return so far!
If you are new to Marvel Rivals (welcome!) or if you simply didn’t pick up the skin at the time (me lol), there is no telling when these skins are coming back or if they will so keep your fingers crossed it’s sooner rather than later!🤞

Under ‘New’ in the Store’s tab, there are 6 items on the very 1st page. Of those 6 items, all but 1 of those items is NOT limited timed - the new Peni emoji pack... The Luna Snow Formula R skin doesn’t show as limited time weirdly enough, but the Savage Adventure pass is only out for another 30 days and you can’t buy the skin Luna separately so it should also have a countdown.

To invoke greater FOMO, the Dev/Deadpool AND Loki/IronMan Avengers bundle show as “limited timed”, but the skins separately are not. I’m also not entirely sure what the red timer on the Avengers bundle means and why it’s different so any guesses are as good as mine! I understand NetEase is here to make money but why does everything need to feel so much like FOMO?

This might ruffle some feathers but at least let me explain before the pitch forks come out! I know everyone loves Event passes because it’s cheaper and people think it’s a good deal (3 skins for $10). Since Season 7, we have had 4 Event passes (Flight Mode, ESU Open day, Hellfire Gala 2026, and Savage Adventures). All but 1 of those cost 990 lattice which is the equivalent to $9.90 (ESU event pass cost 690). Adding these up, if you want them all 4 passes, it costs 3660 lattice or $36.60 for 12 skins. This price DOES NOT even account for any additional Event passes we will see in Season 8.5, which we WILL SEE.

Event passes are coming out, on average, every 18 days or 2/3 weeks and I think it’s starting to be a bit much. I wouldn’t mind the prices of these event passes if the skins were consistently great on theme, but they aren’t! For example, how a $10 SAVAGE LAND pass features 0 X-Men, a 4th Ultron recolor, and the only skin on theme isn’t even the star of her own event pass is crazy to me. The standard battle passes are 990 too. While they aren’t always consistently on theme either, I can justify spending $10 for 10 skins even if half of them are mid. To me, battle passes are the best marked item in the game bc it’s fair and reasonable and you easily get your money’s worth. This isn’t even including the extra units, chrono-tokens unstable molecules we get on top of everything for the SAME price point.

It’s interesting to note how important October 2025 was for the development of both Peni and Hulk. Up until October 2025, Peni and Hulk both had the SAME amount of skins at 4. The difference, however, between both heroes is that NetEase decided to be bold and test the waters by giving Peni her 1st legendary and seeing how it did, but not doing the same for Hulk. Peni’s sales must of been insane as there is an obvious shift from going 10 months of no legendary skins for Peni to getting a new one on a cycle literally every 2 months.
The same can’t be said for Hulk, who really hasn’t ever been given the chance to shine the same way Peni has. The result there is 7 months of no skins is absolutely brutal for one of the most popular heroes on the entire game. Seeing how vocal and passionate the community has been lately, I would love to see NetEase also take their chances on Hulk the same way they took their chances on Peni. I hope the response to Infinity Hulk shows NetEase that there is interest and that people are hungry for more Hulk content!

I genuinly love the new Peni skin (EASILY top 2 ESU skin and day 1 buy imo) but I can’t help but find the entire ESU skin collection hilarious. These ESU outfits are meant to be used as secret identities while Mayor Fisk was using martial law to go after superheroes, but who exactly were they fooling!? Peni Parker didn’t bother to even change her name and is out and about with her “top-secret garage project”! Rocket Raccoon is, well for lack of better words, still clearly a racoon with a rocket who now also just so happens to be wearing a toupee lmao. And white fox, great idea to wear a cap to distract others from that aura tail!! Great designs, hilarious concept. To anyone falling for these disguises, I got a beach house to sell to you in South Dakota 😂

That Sue Storm College Debate skin being legendary will never make sense to me lol. Nothing about the skin screamed “legendary” and yet, it’s Sue Storm’s 5th legendary while Ultron, Thing, and Hulk combine for 2 legendary skins total 😭 The Debate skin didn’t even come with a new ULT VFX either 💀 missed opportunity frfr could you imagine how fire an ULT VFX using the effects of the 6 infinity stones could be?! How they did 3 Infinity Stone beings without attempting it once is a shame
