It’s interesting to note how important October 2025 was for the development of both Peni and Hulk. Up until October 2025, Peni and Hulk both had the SAME amount of skins at 4. The difference, however, between both heroes is that NetEase decided to be bold and test the waters by giving Peni her 1st legendary and seeing how it did, but not doing the same for Hulk. Peni’s sales must of been insane as there is an obvious shift from going 10 months of no legendary skins for Peni to getting a new one on a cycle literally every 2 months.
The same can’t be said for Hulk, who really hasn’t ever been given the chance to shine the same way Peni has. The result there is 7 months of no skins is absolutely brutal for one of the most popular heroes on the entire game. Seeing how vocal and passionate the community has been lately, I would love to see NetEase also take their chances on Hulk the same way they took their chances on Peni. I hope the response to Infinity Hulk shows NetEase that there is interest and that people are hungry for more Hulk content!

I genuinly love the new Peni skin (EASILY top 2 ESU skin and day 1 buy imo) but I can’t help but find the entire ESU skin collection hilarious. These ESU outfits are meant to be used as secret identities while Mayor Fisk was using martial law to go after superheroes, but who exactly were they fooling!? Peni Parker didn’t bother to even change her name and is out and about with her “top-secret garage project”! Rocket Raccoon is, well for lack of better words, still clearly a racoon with a rocket who now also just so happens to be wearing a toupee lmao. And white fox, great idea to wear a cap to distract others from that aura tail!! Great designs, hilarious concept. To anyone falling for these disguises, I got a beach house to sell to you in South Dakota 😂

That Sue Storm College Debate skin being legendary will never make sense to me lol. Nothing about the skin screamed “legendary” and yet, it’s Sue Storm’s 5th legendary while Ultron, Thing, and Hulk combine for 2 legendary skins total 😭 The Debate skin didn’t even come with a new ULT VFX either 💀 missed opportunity frfr could you imagine how fire an ULT VFX using the effects of the 6 infinity stones could be?! How they did 3 Infinity Stone beings without attempting it once is a shame

Well there you have it! I made a post a month ago about how we made it to 6 months with no new Hulk skin and today, May 10th 2026 marks the 7 month with no official mention, word, whisper, or tease of a new Hulk skin from NetEase! I know there is a leaker on Twitter saying that Hulk has a recolor “coming” but he’s been saying that for a several weeks now, if not months by now, so take it for a grain of salt. I’ll believe a new hulk skin when I see it! Also a recolor tho LMAO, let me digress 😂😂 at this point, I’m honestly more interested to see how long this streak goes. Anyone want to take any guesses? I say this goes for another month, MAX 2. Believe me, NetEase hears the noise, I think they give Hulk mains something sooner rather than later!

I saw a post earlier today that said it was Lin Lie’s 8 year anniversary this month and come to find out, it is! NetEase co-created Lin Lie with Marvel back in 2018 and here we are so what did NetEase do for THEIR OWN special hero’s 8 year anniversary? Nothing. I’m not complaining, did anyone expect any less lmao? What I do find funny is they really went all out for Luna Snow’s 8 year anniversary earlier this year, a hero created by Netmarble that according to my research, has no actual ties to NetEase despite similar names (not confusing at all!). NetEase really gave their adopted mascot a whole new song, collabed with Marvel comics on an alternate cover, and got/still has her disco night event in Time Square! That’s NOT even including her disco legendary skin/MVP, new ult VFX, emoji bundle, customizable glasses (bet yall forgot about that lol), AND not 1 but 2 Flight Mode World Tour mini battlepasses for her buddies! Yes yes yes, I know gooner skins make all the money but c’mon NetEase, throw the IronFist mains a bone or something lol

Eddie Brock needs more recognition bc 2 of Venom’s 3 skins (Space Corsair and War of the Realms) released this year in 2026 are for Eddie. On top of that, 2 of Venom’s 4 legendaries skins are ALSO literally Eddie Brock skins 💀💀 I actually don’t mind the 2 legendary Eddie skins, especially the goofy chicken skin, and I especially don’t mind when they take creative risks on their original skins. But I genuinely hate the new War of the Realms suit. It looks lame and honestly does nothing for me, zero sauce! They completely missed on the head/helmet and even the hair color. It’s not even like Netease are allergic to making great comicbook accurate skins (looking right at that classic Cap suit 😮‍💨), it’s like they intentionally don’t make it good and accurate on purpose sometimes 😭 There are so many great Venom skins that people have on their wishlist that Netease are legit sleeping on. Ultimate Venom like helllooo?!? 😭 like pls be so fr

Bro what are we actually doing here lol. Don’t get me wrong, the lobby screen is gorgeous but a lobby loading screen should never cost as much as an epic skin, I don’t care what it is. At best, it should’ve been a reward for playing The Avengers PVP mode, considering the mode itself doesn’t have any rewards to begin with… At worst, it should’ve been 500 units MAX. The lobby screen costing $16(!!!) or as much as ONE skin bundle (that comes with a new skin, MVP, spray, emote, AND nameplate) just doesn’t sit right with me. I contemplated on buying the lobby screen bc of the novelty and how much I love this game, but if this is what Path to Doomsday is gonna like, I might aswell save my units now and wait for the Infinity War/Endgame lobby menus, which I assume as going to be even cooler!

And yes, Magik, Hulk, and White Fox all technically have more in-game icons! BUT those characters are all heroes and Loki is villain 😉 The new Avengers PVP icon has Loki’s new skin in it so I hope this is just the start for all skins to be displayed on the icons 🙏🙏
