I'm super obsessed with like , liminal space/Backrooms/weirdcore Esque stuff right now , so I've been taking pictures like these and editing them lol

( This is all on Etsy by the way ) So a few days ago , someone wanted to commission me to draw art that was fully/3D rendered of their OC . I did this , and not going to lie , it took a while and was a little difficult considering I haven't made a fully rendered piece in a while , and because I had to make a very stylized character look 3D . They didn't place the order nor ask me how much it'd be , and I'm accustomed to my clients placing the order first or after we discuss the details ( as I state in my listings description to pay/order first ) so I forgot to even bring up the price until I sent the sketch and let them know it'd be $30 . ( I was originally going to charge $45 , and I thought I should make it cheaper because I had forgotten to tell them how much it'd be )

I later finished it , and sent them the preview with my watermarks and assured them that the watermarks wouldn't be included in the downloadable file after they placed the order and I completed it . They wanted some revisions , which I did those , and later they said they wanted to request another piece . The WAY they worded it sounded like they weren't planning on paying me for the first one . ( You can read this in the screenshots )

I reminded them that they would still have to pay ( twice ) and they said they would get to it "after school" , pretty much . I find it suspicious that they are in school whenever they have "just married" stickers and engagement rings , along with other non-child friendly things in their favorited items . Now , they COULD be referring to college if they aren't a child ... I'm only suspicious because what if they're using "school" as an excuse not to pay me ? And I don't typically hear college students referring to college as "school" . And theres also the possibility that they are in fact still in school and are busy . I just think some of its strange .

Anyways , a day later , they haven't paid me yet . I waited for a while and at about 7 or 8 I messaged them to ask them when exactly they were going to pay . Still no response . No orders have been placed . They haven't said anything to me the entire day . I don't know what I should do at this point . I don't think they're going to pay me , SIMPLY because throughout the entire thing , they didn't seem like they intended on paying-- only whenever I brought it up .

Is this a scam or am I just paranoid ??

art dumpp ( The first two are a few months old . I use a softer-ish brush for my line art now but I'm kinda missing my older brush I used ... ;n; )

Used magma for all of these EXCEPT the last two ! I used IbisPaint for those ones and drew them on my drawing tablet instead of my chromebook loll ( also yes , Freaky Fred if any real ones know who that is ......... )
