I don’t want to do this anymore

I don’t want to be apart of this club anymore. I grieve constantly. I grieve my health. My old life. Not getting to raise my kids full time. Having to send my kids to my ex’s and their new significant other’s after they left me. Not getting to have more kids. I never wanted this. I just want to get to be with my kids. I wanted to get to raise my kids. I lost my job because i couldn’t do it safely with muscle control issues so I lost my main way to provide for myself. My parents are moving in with me because I can no longer do it all on my own. I love them but I grieve my independence and the life I thought I’d have. I’ve lost so many people because I don’t have the energy to maintain relationships and I’m struggling so hard with depression and anxiety all the time. I mask so hard all the time just to be able to pretend to function because I have kids to raise and responsibilities but I’m struggling so bad today. It’s stolen so much from me. I’ve spent so much money trying to get better, money that I don’t have. I feel like such a burden to those around me. I’m feeling so defeated today. Giving myself a few minutes to cry today then I need to get up and go get what I need to get done today. I’m taking the meds, I’m doing the therapy, I’m doing everything I’m supposed to but I just needed to share it with someone that gets it today.

Finally quit this unhealthy relationship.

Irony is I believe there is a God, or something, but I’m tired of the bread crumbing. I’ve been pleading for an answer about one thing for 5 years and nothing. I’m done. Answers about nothing of importance but the thing I really need? Crickets. Promised to be there. Supposed to never leave me. Was told he loved me. This isn’t love. It’s control. I’m tired of the inconsistency and the abandonment. This is not a healthy relationship and I’m done.

MS commune in Hawaii?

Only half joking - who wants to just move to Hawaii and just start an MS commune where everyone just gets what each other are going through because we’ve been there too and can just help each other out and heal? Who’s in? I’ve got like $10 I can chip in - anyone else? (Kidding…. Mostly…)

Anyone else feel like their bodies are twisted or like their head just “isn’t on straight”?

I feel constant pulling on my left side. My head never feels properly aligned on my body. Constantly trying to work on it but I just feel this constant tugging and it drives me crazy. Anyone else deal with the this?

I’ve got MS- hit me with your supplement stack if you were in my position.

I already take quite a few - just seeing if anyone has any suggestions I haven’t thought of yet. Hit me with your faves. Thanks 🙏🏽

Did DJS help your mental health?

Struggled with anxiety basically my entire life. I have diagnosed sleep apnea. Tried everything under the sun except DJS even though I am a candidate for it. Did it make a significant improvement for anyone?

Prayer request

Hi I’ve never posted here before but I do believe in prayer. I was hoping someone might be able to pray for me to receive guidance and deliverance. My mental and physical health have been struggling for a long time and I’m so tired. I am having such a hard time hearing God and I’m just so tired. Any prayers would be welcome. Thank you so much.

Elon in my dream

I remember a few weeks ago someone posting they’d get random Elon Musk dreams and shared the advice Elon gave them in their dreams. I must have been thinking about it or something because I had an Elon dream 2 nights ago too haha. I was told “connect to source to energize” haha. Is this a common thing? Anyone else getting random Elon musk dreams?

OCD hacks?

Anyone have any hacks they do other than the regular suggested ones to interrupt the rumination cycle?

I just tried one - I swear it helped. I got a massage the other day and it helped with my stress and my brain was starting to stress out so I had the thought if only I could massage it maybe it’d calm my brain the heck down. Maybe a placebo effect but I think it helped. There’s tons of studies about the power of visualization so I literally just laid down and visualized my hand give my brain a “brain massage.” I think it actually helped. Prayer is my usual compulsion - hope it doesn’t turn into a compilation but I did calm my brain down and turned down the anxiety.

Anyone else have any other hacks for interrupting the cycle?

How many neurodivergent ppl here?

I started floor sleeping simply because I found myself basically pulled to it before finding out it was actually a thing. Tossing and turning trying to fall asleep on my bed all the time then I decided to try the floor and slept great. I have adhd, definitely some hypermobility and MS and was reading apparently it’s great for us neurospicy folk because it offers tons of joint and muscle stability. Anyone else fit this criteria here?

This is giving me hope

Wanted to share here because unless you’ve suffered with ocd, you don’t know how awful it is and I know this group understands what it’s like. I was suffering really bad this last week (always worse around my cycle) and in a last ditch attempt for any relief I decided to give the antihistamine and Pepcid ac combo a try that the mcas group talks about. This is NOT medical advice. Talk to your dr first of course but I’ve been alternating them for a few days and tonight my brain is quiet. Like no ruminating. My heart and brain feel calm. I’m so grateful. Wanted to share here incase it might help anyone else.

Antihistamine and Pepcid ac

I want to cry. I have suffered horribly for such a long time with anxiety and ocd and have tried everything under the sun. I recently decided to give this combo a try and I want to cry. For the first time in I don’t know how long my brain is quiet. I feel calm. My heart is beating normally and I feel ok. This has been a miracle for me.

Is this an unreasonable thought?

We have a family dog and vet recommends her to take an antiparasitic med every 3 months. It’s $10 a pill. Not bad. My kids and I all have ADHD and I have ms. All have a correlation with parasites along with low iron and zinc etc. We’ve taken an antiparastic before when my son was expressing symptoms of needing one but it’s not a regular thing. I asked my dr if we could just take one every 3 months like my dog just in case and he thought it was nuts. Is that an unreasonable thought process? Anyone else do that?

Edit: adding because multiple people think I’m suggesting they cause ADHD. To clarify, I don’t believe that. Just based on a study I was reading they were saying they could exacerbate symptoms so I was just seeing if anyone does preventative measures like vets do with dogs.
