I ordered the wrong type of shoes and have only been recently made aware in uniform inspection. however no where has my size, any suggestions? (I’m a size 11)

I recently went into my school library to discover the LGBTQ section has disappeared. I find this especially concerning considering it is A. Pride month and B. one of the most popular books is heartstopper. Additionally my principal is gay (then again he has not done anything for pride month), so it is very surprising. Am I just being over concerned or could something bigger be going on?
I think I have a crush on one of my fellow cadets (I’m in air cadets), due to personal things I struggle with analysing emotions especially my own, so is there anyway I can tell if this is a genuine crush or me just being a weirdo.
