Hey JIITians! Need some urgent help!

So basically i'm joining Btech CSE this year and i'm looking to join jaypee 128 in btech cs. But after seeing many opinions in this sub and other subs. I'm stuck in between. I need to convince my arrogant bua to let me go there. I live in dehradun, if i don't come to jaypee 128, i'll go to a T3 govt college in dehradun. Help me out. JIIT total fees will end up ~ 24 lakhs and if i join the college in my city it will be 4 lakhs. What do i do? Do i spend an extra 20? The college in my city has no data as its 1st batch is now entering 4th year. And the college doesn't have a good community or labs. What do i do?

Need to convince my arrogant bua for Jaypee Noida.

Well apparently i'm joining Btech CSE this year. And i'm eligible to go to Jaypee but my parents are very hard to convince. Especially my bua who works at BCG with an ECE background. I need to talk to my bua tomorrow and i'm gonna have to try to convince her for it. Jaypee does have high fees but has good coding culture, location benefit and placement. Otherwise they'll send me to a T4 govt clg in Dehradun. (I live there). Please help me out. Any real facts about it that i can use to convince her please.

Which one should i start with? (Beginner)

I'm completely new to reading and i have these 7 books. Which one should i start with? And in which order should i read them to get myself hooked into reading? (Forget the ghosts of the silent hills) And should i keep some book for later and buy some new books after completing 2-3?

How do you guys stay updated on the Tech and AI news?

Many of my seniors suggest me to stay updated on the news regarding AI and tech. But i don't exactly know how. Do i follow some specific X accounts? Some yt creators? Some facebook profiles? What's the best way for me to be knowledgeable?

What checklist do companies follow while appointing an AI/ML engineer?

What do companies look for in a candidate for AI/ML tech roles? I'm joining Btech CSE this year and i want to explore the field of AI/ML and eventually get into tech roles related to that industry. Its tough to be appointed in such roles as a fresher out of a bachelors from a T3 clg, but people who are currently working in such roles - could you tell me what you did to get that role?

I really want to explore the field of AI/ML but i also want to know what companies want from a AI/ML engineer - especially as a fresher. If you can please DM me your linkedin or resume, so that i can get some insights on what companies actually look for.

Joining college this year with almost 0 prior knowledge to CS. I've been researching about different fields and tech roles. And i see Full-stack and AI/ML almost everywhere. AI/ML is full of hype rn. It requires good python and deep maths. Full-stack on the other hand asks for C++/Java. I don't know what i should choose for a better future. Full-stack is very saturated whereas AI/ML will get saturated by the time i graduate. For professionals working out there, is there a midway? Is there a midway where i can do something smarter? Study both in some way to avoid being like hundreds of other similar resumes? And also as a future first year, what should be my goal? I'm interested in AI/ML but many opinions online are making me withdraw it. Is AI/ML worth it? And will i even be able to join as an AI engineer or ML engineer as a fresher? Should i instead go for full-stack with some AI?(And what does "some AI" even mean?)

If anyone is free enough to help me out please DM for a better explanation
