Argentina series

I think the Argentina series is going to be a real grind, but important. Both venues are actually closer to the state capitals of Bolivia and Chile than Buenos Aires.

Also, what a shame we couldn't play at "23 August Stadium" (Estadio 23 de Agosto) on 23 August, but instead on 29 August?

We have won three from four games at the second venue (Estadio Malvinas Argentinas) in Mendoza.

Wallabies in Townsville (3/3)

https://www.rugby-japan.jp/match/30035/print

Wallabies now 3/3 in Townsville. The connection building there is promising, although it appears this may be the lowest turnout for a Wallabies home Test match since the 2021 season which had COVID issues (French Test in Brisbane). The Perth Test last month had around 19k.

Despite the loss, Japan remains undefeated on the advertising front

Premium tickets to the game last night were around A$150 each too.

General feeling on Giteau’s Law?

Just a newbie popping in to gauge the community’s feeling on Giteau’s Law. I personally don’t want it in place. As in, scrap it and restrict selection to domestically-based players only.

It also seems like Reg 9 is a band-aid that is going to get ripped off at some point, although the Springboks haven’t had too many issues with selecting their players from around the world from what I’ve seen.

The Good ol' days

Looks like we are slightly back to the original idea New Zealand put forward for Super Rugby in 1995. Well not really, but kinda.

This is from Matt McIlwraith's Ten Years of Super 12 (2005), page 31.

Monitor not turning on fully

I have an MSI monitor (not sure rn on the specific model), maybe a MAG series one. Recently cleaning the screen and it turned off. Every time I attempt to turn it back on the bottom screen light turns on followed by an orange light on the back display, which lights up for a split second, before the monitor turns off. I have no idea why. I cleaned everything and made sure all the cables were safe and connected properly.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
