Loreal Collagen lifter review.. loving the results..
I had seen the ad on Nykaa and the post here previously. Anything purple honestly gets me.. lol. But thought of trying this for myself.
I have fine wavy hair which was poker straight naturally, after years of experiments of all kinds. Recently highlighted as well. Oily scalp which is usually on the 2nd or 3rd day post wash.
The shampoo is creamy in consistency. Has a pleasant fragrance, reminds me of a bit of Garnier Fructis, but milder and floral. Lathers well, even better when emulsified with a bit of water. The conditioner is not too thick.
Now, recently, I came across the sandwich method for hair wash and I have been doing so for a while. Did the same with this range. I also used a detangling hair brush after applying the conditioner and before the final wash.
Here, I have blow dried my hair using the round brush attachment of the Dyson Airwrap.
Even with a blast dry, I found my hair silky smooth, knots free. It did give me volume. Yesterday was my 3rd time using the products. After only air drying, my hair was still soft and manageable as well.
The serum arrived today from Nykaa, it is creamy not oil based, similar fragrance. Wish the packaging would have been better. Really tacky looking serum bottle.
Is the collagen part gimmicky? Probably. Does it still work for my hair? Yes. It even suited my daughter. Her hair is thicker and has long hair, oily scalp. But the shine on her hair was insane after using the shampoo and conditioner. So I hope they launch more products in this range- mask etc..
I ordered the shampoo and conditioner from blinkit cause was too excited and couldn't wait to try it and wanted it soon.. hehe.. serum from Nykaa..
Even Kerastase and Wella products haven't given me such results that this range has. Which for me is really surprising as this is not even from the Loreal professional range.
