Caught some good ones on my last trip, here is the fattest one measuring in at 28.75" but weighing 11.44lb, just a crazy build. Here is the full Youtube video of the trip: https://youtu.be/J_0Rbu17gv4
Fish measured 29” and had some cool battle scars. The eye looked a bit odd on this one🤣 Full video from my day of fishing is on my YouTube: https://youtu.be/tQh7SsvKiVc?si=JlIBLMi-JJEHruAp
The thickness on this fish was insane. Fish measured 29.75” with a crazy thick build! Caught on video! https://youtu.be/tQh7SsvKiVc?si=74MkSkaEaA3In\_40
The colours on this fish were insane, the underside was borderline orange. Fish measured just touching the 30” mark. Caught on video! https://youtu.be/tQh7SsvKiVc?si=74MkSkaEaA3In\_40

Recently I've been gaining a ton of confidence in one of the simplest baits in fishing: the bucktail jig.
In this video, I break down how I'm using bucktail jigs to target suspended walleye and why they've quickly become one of my favorite tools for triggering reaction bites. The heavy weight allows the bait to fall quickly through the water column, making it easy to stay on fish and fish aggressively. That fast drop, combined with sharp upward snaps and sudden direction changes, often triggers strikes from fish that otherwise seem completely uninterested.
I'll cover when I use a bucktail jig, how I work it around suspended fish, why the fast fall rate is so important, and the situations where it can outperform other presentations.
If you've struggled to get suspended walleye to commit, this simple lure might be exactly what you're missing.

NEW UPLOAD: Where to Catch Giant Post-Spawn Walleye on Georgian Bay link: https://youtu.be/6IDOuvpg0AY
Springtime on Georgian Bay can offer some of the best walleye fishing of the entire year, but finding these fish isn’t always as simple as heading to the nearest spawning area. In this video, I break down exactly how I locate post-spawn walleye in shallow water, the types of areas I focus on, the baits I use, and the conditions that help me consistently find fish.
Whether you’re fishing Georgian Bay for the first time or looking to improve your spring walleye success, I’ll walk you through the pattern I use to locate active fish and explain what signs to look for on the water. From key structure and water depth to lure selection and presentation, this video covers everything that helped me put fish in the boat.
If you’re planning a spring walleye trip this season, hopefully this video helps shorten the learning curve and puts a few more fish in your net.
