NO audio but radio screen works, how do I fix my audio?

Hey everybody, so I have looked on YouTube and done everything that they had told me and I’m still at a loss on why I don’t have audio. So an important note is I am just now getting where I can fix my veloster, my transmission had went out and I’ve just now gotten that fixed and as you can tell in the video below, I have been messing with the AC also thankfully I’ve gotten both of those issues fixed as of today, but while I have everything apart, I figured I would ask if any of you have ever had to deal with this apparently pretty common issue on our cars. Some other relevant info is mine is a 2016, I believe base model and before it fully went out I was having trouble with the passenger door speaker where it would almost buzz because I’m guessing the speakers are so cheap and then it just went out. I have had to have a new battery put in this thing so I wonder if it’s maybe not a connection there but I haven’t found a video that would show me where the audio line would connect to the battery if that’s even possibly an issue. To be fully honest, I had to park the car for about a year and a half so a lot of this is me trying to have remember and re-remember. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I have tried resetting it and that did not work.

Does anybody know of any shops locally that repair CRT TVs?

Hello everybody as stated above, I have a CRT TV that I would like to have a shop local to the Oklahoma City area look at and possibly fix. I myself am out in southwestern Oklahoma so any shops between here and Oklahoma City also work m, but I know that there’s more business just as a whole in the city. So if you guys are aware of the shop that does this sort of work, please drop them down below. Thanks!

Capable of towing?

So for a little context, I am a blacksmith that quite frankly, I am in a area that I cannot safely pack everything feasibly into the car that I have (a 2021 Toyota CHR) and I was wondering, even with the risk of the transmission being under strain ( mine literally went out like three days ago and is being repaired) do you guys think it would be possible to pull a tiny trailer with the weight of about somewhere around 500 pounds loaded onto it maximum? This would include the weight of a leg vice, forge, anvil and the stands for the vice and anvil. Obviously they make the kits to be able to tow. I just wonder if you guys think that it would be better to just not do it if it would be possibly too much damage on the car. I would just trade this car in, but I am currently where I would be $6000 overlapped on my current loan onto whatever I would be able to get and I just don’t have the money for a down payment on anything yet but would still like to be able to go to event try to make money from my hobby

Transmission fix?

This is a question specifically for anybody that has had their CHR fixed already. Mine was making the weird humming noise that apparently seems indicative of the transaction going out so I took mine in luckily before a complete failure. The dealership diagnosed it as the transmission and are currently waiting on parts. Luckily mine was under warranty. I had 100,000 mile warranty. Mine is currently sitting at 90,000 miles so got too damn close for comfort. But thank you for everybody that has ever shared their experience on here so I knew what I was looking for. The question however it’s after you guys had your transmission fixed and kept your car. Did anybody ever have trouble with the transmission afterwards? The service guy that I have seems to be of the opinion that any of the transmission coming as fixes have supposedly been retooled for the issue that it’s causing all of this in mind so that they don’t fail again, but I bought my CHR after having a Hyundai veloster that had transmission failure. So to say that I am anxious about the possibility of having a second transmission fail on the CHR would be an understatement, especially with what I owe on it so any feedback that you guys would give on on how yours has performed after the required fix would be awesome

In search the new vehicle need recommendations

Hello everybody so I am looking to possibly trade in my Toyota CHR because of a bad CVT transmission. Luckily the transmission was covered under warranty, but it makes me nervous to even keep the CHR around with how much I owe on it for fear that it is going to turn around and fail again in the future after everything I’ve read about these CVT transmissions. They seem to honestly just be pieces of crap and I’m kind of amazed that Toyota allowed their brand of reliability to have such a thing in it. With that stance in mind, I am looking to buy a vehicle that preferably is in the Toyota Line, but does not have a CVT transmission. It is also to my understanding that the hybrids have a form of a CVT transmission, but apparently it is a different type. My basic question is what do I need to look out for and avoid? I ask this as I do not know a lot about cars and I do not want to get into the same boat. I am now only a year and a half into owning the CHR and already looking into getting rid of it. I want something that I can drive easily for five years and have just basic small stuff that would come up with regular maintenance. So please below give me your suggestions for vehicles that perhaps you drive or a friend drives and has had excellent luck with and if you’ve had any bad luck with any like apparently a lot of people with the Toyota CHR have had please let me know that too, so I know what to avoid

Why couldn’t Elizabeth just meet Will at sea?

So my question that I’ve never quite understood, is why once Will Turner becomes captain of the Flying Dutchman couldn’t Elizabeth just get on a ship and go meet Will to kind of circumvent the every 10 years rule? I wonder this because we see several times in the movie where Will himself or Jack or even the East India trading company has men on the Dutchman itself that aren’t dead nor dying so it doesn’t seem to be an issue that once you get on the Dutchman, you have to give up your soul. So why couldn’t Elizabeth from time to time just pop in between the Dutchman doing its business fairing souls to the next world?

What’s this sound?

Not the greatest video and for obvious reasons I didn’t video while driving, but what is this mechanical sounding humming? I have a bubble in my front right tire that I’m going to see if is making the noise tomorrow by putting on the spare and driving but if it’s not tire related, any guesses? I have a 2021 CHR XLE
