Coping with in person jobs

Hi all!

I have RA, MCAS, POTS, and suspected CFS. I recently switched my hours at work to beginning at 7:30 am (not my choice), and regardless of how much sleep I get, I feel sick all the time, and it's making me start to hate the job I once loved so much.

I'm on LDN and Iron to attempt to help, and I drink lots of caffeine, but I still have this overwhelming feeling of needing to sleep immediately, and I can hardly focus anymore.

Does anyone have any advice or things that help them? I unfortunately cannot leave this job or change my hours, so mostly looking for ways to cope with 5 days in person a week and early hours.

TIA! No one in my personal life understands that it's not sleepiness, it's fatigue, and their advice is frustrating and minimizing

Everyone say hi to Blueberry!

I picked up my new Vistiq today and I am SO happy. My dealership was able to keep the third row folded so I could get it even with the stop sale!

I am ecstatic! Everyone share their favorite part of their Vistiq and things about the car pls!!!

Thinking about bumping up from my Lyriq

Hi!

I found a premium luxury Vistiq for $647 a month with like $5000 DAS and am seriously considering trading in my Lyriq for it.

Some questions for yall - how good is the massage seat? Does the car feel as big as it is? What is your real-world range?

TIA!!

Quick update: the dealer who was advertising that price added a $10,000 wrap after I made an appointment and confirmed the price...
I found one for $799 a month with $5000 das, which is def more, but still feels pretty reasonable for 24 mo/10k miles.

First date is a weekend trip - need some advice!

I'm [27f] meeting up with a childhood [27M] friend I haven't seen in years for a weekend getaway in a city just far enough from us both that we need to stay over for two nights. We've both expressed mutual attraction, even though it's been a while since we have seen each other, and we have a history (dated a long time ago).

I don't want it to just be a hookup, but also that's a lot of nights in a hotel with someone I am attracted to, who I know feels the same way.

I am for sure catching feelings and am hoping this progresses into a relationship (we'll be living close to each other in a few months), but is it wrong to sleep with him on the first date/weekend?

TIA!!! Any advice is appreciated

Curly disaster! Please help!

Hey yall! I just moved to Texas, and my hair has never been more upset, and I am out of ideas. No matter what I do, on day two of curls, my hair becomes a giant knot and takes me 10-15 minutes to brush out. I've been using the same products I was before I moved, and used to get 3-4 days out of my curls, but now I can't even get 2.

Any ideas for ways to help are greatly appreciated because my curls are hurting! I have tyle 3b/3c hair, but I cant even get my coils to look pretty lately.

My routine is:

Shampoo 2x a week with Aussie curl

Conditioner every time I wet it with aussie curl

Deep conditioner on shampoo days with revlon deep conditioner

Not your mothers curl cream (in shower while wet)

Not your mothers mousse (while dripping wet)

Air dry

Like why is it so frizzy and wavy and how do I make the insane knots stop?? This is day 1 hair FYI

How do I clearly convey I want this to be a date without making it weird?

Hi! I need some advice and could use all the opinions I can get!

TLDR: I'm going to visit a friend I haven't seen since high school, who is a plane ride away but lives in a cool city. How can I make it clear I'm romantically interested?

So, my best friend from childhood lives far from our hometown, but near the area where I am currently. I reached out after I moved and mentioned I'd been thinking of visiting his city (a 6-hour drive or 1-hour flight from me), and he said he would love to get together. We were chatting over Facebook, then moved to text, and have been texting pretty consistently for about a week. I'm not going for two more weeks. Still, I am very romantically interested in him, and know he is single, and want this trip to be a date and invite him to stay with me instead of driving back home, but don't know how to go about asking his feelings about it without being weird, or making him uncomfortable if he did not see it as a romantic trip.

We've been talking about our days and childhood and work, and the conversations have felt really normal, and I love having him in my life again, and certainly don't want to make things weird if I am misreading the situation.

He is moving closer to our hometown in a few months (where I am also moving back to) and will be close enough that we could geographically make a relationship work.

How do I ask him if this is a date without making it weird if he did not want it to be?

Dipping my toes into polyamory and not sure how to navigate finding a primary partner

I am recently out of a very long-term monogamous relationship that I wasn't satisfied in (for many reasons), but I am really working on finding myself post-breakup.

Part of that has been exploring polyamoury more, which I am loving, but I am not sure how to navigate this part of it all.

I have a partner, let's call him Tim, who has a different primary partner. I am very much okay with my relationship with Tim never evolving into something more serious, but I really want to be married one day and start a family with someone.

How have y'all gone about finding a primary partner when you already have another partner? I feel like it would be much easier the other way if I had an established primary to find someone more casual. Still, I'm not sure how to incorporate something serious into my existing (very happy) relationship.

Any advice for newer poly folx or anything similar to this is greatly appreciated! TIA!
