How a single container goes from ship to train in my port game

Hi all, im working on Portscape. A port building/automation game. Here is a video following the same container from when it arrives by ship until it leaves by train. From the ship crane to a truck, across the port and onto the train at the rail terminal. All automated ofcourse. However, you can also manually use any of the cranes, trucks, stackers etc.

Its a camera sequence I set up in the game to show the whole journey. The game is still in development, I would love to hear your opinions!

You can find the steam page here if you're interested:

Manage your own port tycoon with Portscape

Hi all! I’m developing Portscape, a port-building and management game set in a miniature world. Its Steam page just went live, so I wanted to introduce it here.

You start with a small berth, a crane and a limited budget. Take on contracts, hire workers and invest in more equipment, yard space and a bigger quay as your port grows.

Containers travel by ships, trucks and trains. You decide how to connect everything, where to spend your money, and how much work your port can handle.

You can also take the controls yourself: unload a ship with a quay crane, stack containers with a reach stacker or yard gantry, or drive a tractor through the port you’ve built.

It’s still in development. I tried to make a nice trailer though its not perfect. A demo will be out soon, and I’m happy to answer questions!

Afraid of copying/stealing

I am working on an awesome game, something original, at least thats what I think it is. Anyways I am too afraid to share it online because I'm afraid some people will steal it/copy it and perhaps publish it before I do, thereby killing it for me. Though I know that early sharing creates great ideas and helps a lot with awareness and when its time for it with wishlists.

How do you handle this dilemma?

A new chemistry based factory automation game

Dear Chemistry lovers,

First of all, yes this is self promotion, but please know that this post is moderator (VeryPaulite) approved. I asked explicit permission before posting.

I have just made a new chemistry based factory automation game with a space theme.
The idea is that you get atoms from elemental clouds in space and bond them into complex molecules and feed those to the black hole.
There are different machines that are used to create larger and more complex molecular structures, think of oxidation, polymerizing, cyclizing, cleaving and more. It respects the valence rules and gives information on different atoms and molecules.
I would really love to hear your opinions and suggestions.

The free demo is now playable on itch:
https://furkanfs.itch.io/atom-by-atom
You can wishlist the game on steam:

Thank you all and have a great day.
