The reason I’m here is because I feel overwhelmed. A lot of areas of my life feel blocked right now- money, career, freedom, family situations, social life, confidence, appearance, and just feeling like myself again.
Because of family circumstances, I can’t go out and enjoy time with friends like I used to. One of my family member is causing distress at home..I want to change their behaviour. I’m also dealing with financial stress and I really want things to improve at home. My family has lost everything. No proper income.
I feel like I’m trying to fix everything at once, and I don’t know where to start. I wish I won a hugee lottery with a life changing money lol.. cos money works some half of the problem.
I’m honestly at a point where I was close to giving up, but a part of me still believes things can get better.
I’ve never really been the type to obsess over “when” something will happen or constantly check for results. Even during some of the lowest points of my life, when it honestly felt like things couldn’t get any worse, I still wasn’t stressing about it. I have this weird gut feeling that things are going to get better and that my life is going to change.
For people who have manifested big life changes, what method actually helped you? (Like majorly change it in 360, in every aspects of life)
If you were in my situation and wanted to rebuild your life from this point, what would you focus on first?

I read their experience and instantly wanted to be in that state and feel what they felt. Maybe because I watched it with the intention of “I’ll be in that state,” that’s why I didn’t. I wasn’t feeling it.

What’s with all the hate for Alia Bhatt and Alpha? I might get downvoted for this, but the movie hasn’t even released yet.
I loved Dhurandhar. That kind of gritty, realistic spy action thriller is rare in Bollywood and it absolutely raised the bar. But why does every new spy film now have to be compared to it? Not every movie needs to be gritty and grounded. Cinema has room for different tones. Dhurandhar is entertainment. Alpha will be entertainment too. and YRF themselves call it a “popcorn entertainer”. That’s the point.
I’ve lost count of posts and comments tearing Alpha apart based on a 2min teaser. People are screenshotting micro expressions from action cuts and comparing Alia to Katrina or Deepika frame by frame. Everybody has a different screen presence. She doesn’t have to be either of them to be good.
I’m not even an Alia stan. I’ve watched maybe 2, 3 of her films. But the pile on feels unfair at this point. Everything she does is trolled to a very extent. Last time I saw so many posts about her was at the time she was at cannes and now it’s back with the teaser. Judge the film for its story, direction, or her performance after you’ve actually watched it.
Let it release first. Then criticize. That’s how it should work, right? Dhurandhar raised the bar for realism. Let Alpha be Alpha(or any other movie for that fact). Both can exist.
I love my people. And I know it’s a privilege to have those kind of people around you, who check up on you. But there are some phases in my life where I just need to disappear for a bit ..no explanation, no drama. I hate that they take it to heart though. It makes me wonder if that makes me a bad friend?
