I never thought I'd encounter someone sexist in the 21st Century. Alam ko naman that they exist online, mostly kids pandering to red pill content. He genuinely blew off on me, saying that I was generalizing. His emotions went from 0 to 100. He began talking about how the patriarchy doesn't exist in the modern world because women can do whatever they want and f*ck whoever they want, and I calmly explained that the patriarchy is still deeply rooted in our society.

Women are still expected to take care of their kids before their careers, and women from other countries still struggle to gain basic rights. I told him that I wasn't generalizing, I'm just telling him what the reality is for most women and how the movie was spot-on when it came to its critique of Bear. Like, he can't really believe that the suffering of multiple women is just hinged on their individual circumstances rather than what society expects of them? That's crazy.

He got mad and said na I was annoying and s*upid? Which is offensive, if that's what he thinks of his close friend of five years, imagine what he thinks about his girlfriend? His mother?

Ugh, I guess I had an idea na sexist siya because of how much FUBUs he's had and the fact that he genuinely doesn't respect the women that he lets into his bed. I don't want to take this test pero required kasi siya according sa PEHA forms, and I can't find anything sa rules about denying a test if you don't consent to taking it. Does anyone have any idea kung pwede ako mag-no dito?

At the end of the day, all Filipinos want the same thing - for corruption to end and for our country to become a better place. Hindi natin kasalanan at binibilog ng politika yung utak natin, black becomes white. Pero nakakapanlumo pa rin yung cognitive dissonance nila. Nakakapanlumo at ginagamit nila yung pagmamahal natin sa bayan para urakan at nakawan tayo.

Hello, I'm an incoming freshman for BS Economics. I attended a high school that didn't prioritize math and science. Galing din ako sa ABM strand, and kahit na meron kaming applied economics na subject, it was more on the theoretical side. Now, my future classmates come from science high schools (STEM strand), which means that they have an advantage (not only in the math-heavy topics but also in their study habits). I'm worried that I'll fall behind.

Are there any topics that ya'll can prescribe to me that'll make studying Economics easier for me? (I'm already covered naman sa Language/Social Science side).

Hello, how do I commute from FCM to Glorietta 3?

Basically, what the title says.

Economics in itself is already difficult. I'm worried that when I study in UPD, I won't be able to deal with the pressure, kasi nga it's a high-stress environment, and takot din ako ma-delay. Regardless, UPD is my dream school, and economics is my dream course.

Sa ADMU naman, sabi nila na mas asikaso yung mga students and forgiving yung admin. BS Legma is a versatile course, kasi nga 50/50 law and business sa Ateneo. I wouldn't mind studying it since second choice course ko siya.

Just want to ask what course is the best choice considering future prospects?

I'm trying to learn Spanish because I just want to learn more languages. I've got free time for about 4 months since I've got no school til August.

I'm 18, I study Management (which is why I wanna learn Spanish so it'll be easier to connect with more clients in the future). If you're a fluent Spanish speaker or just someone learning Spanish, hmu, let's learn together because exposure is apparently the best way to learn a language.
