Said F it and asked my guy friend of 4 years on a date..
It got to the point where I was tired of holding back my feelings so I just went for it. I was like well either way i wont be living in a "what if" situation, so it's a win win lol. He said yes! And he was basically like "finally, I had my suspicions but I wasn't sure".
Now, I've only dated once and that was very briefly (like..2 dates) in college so I basically have no experience.
Has anyone here transitioned from good friends to potential lovers? How do I not just act platonic towards him like I've been all these years and kinda switch that off? Am I overthinking this?😂
Took TKZ 10 business days to finish reacting 😭
Going on vacation to costa rica...boho vs. traditional braids?
So I've gotten box braids before but I just love how boho looks. Thing is I know im going to a humid climate so im wondering if that might not be the best idea lol, are boho braids difficult to maintain for a first timer? Should i just stick with some box braids?
I think it's crazy that people have kids at my age or younger(23)
I graduated college in 2024 and have been working my corporate job for almost 2 years now, I can't imagine giving up all this money and freedom at such a young age😭like i really feel as though life is just beginning for me after I was done with college because I can support myself 100% and focus on learning myself. To give all that up so soon to be a mother seems absolutely bonkers.
I've been buying concert tickets left and right, and also just booked a trip to Costa Rica because im like hey, why not lol.
Anyone else deal with falling in love with yourself after seeing visible gym progress
I've always been very lean but never strong (I'm like 120lbs at 5'7)
been working hard at building muscle for a few months now. Took a progress pic and i was like mmmmm🤤
I am becoming mesexual and this is a new feeling..but i like it
I think more people should be comfortable with being alone
I'm 23 and have always been single. No relationships, never kissed anyone, the works lol!
I have alot of solo hobbies that take up my time, so I'm honestly never really bored. Have my nerdy friends who I occasionally do nerdy stuff with. I'm also an only child so I've been used to having a good amount of alone time.
I find myself looking around and realizing that alot of people are never really alone for long stretches of time. They're jumping from relationship to relationship and have been doing that since their teens.
I think it's so important to be able to enjoy your own company and not constantly be tied to a partner...that's not to say that being in a relationship is bad, but some people really don't know themselves well because they don't spend enough time with themselves.
And at the end of the day, the only person who will NEVER leave your side is...you😆!
23F here! I have a few friends who are kind of obsessed with finding their person. Which is good for them, but I couldn't care less about that for myself lol.
They update me on who they're dating, what they like/don't like about that person, current issues, etc. It's entertaining to listen to, but also sounds exhausting to me😂.
And at the end of the conversation, it almost always turns back to me.
"Do you want me to set you up with someone?"
"Why not? Are you looking?"
"You should walk up to guys at the gym, it would work"(?!)
I feel as though majority of people just can't fathom why a relationship isnt at the top of your list. ESPECIALLY in your 20s.
Like guys, I promise I'm not depressed because I'm single. I AM CHOOSING TO BE SINGLE! I genuinely love my own company and my fun hobbies. I feel at peace. I dated ONCE at 21 and it wasn't fun for me lol
