How hardy are pogonomyrmex maricopa?

I have always wanted this species, and there are finally queens available in my area. The issue is I am moving in about a month, and I will then be in an apartment with roommates. I’ll have my own space and everything but I’m not sure that there will be anywhere without foot traffic. Is there anyone with experience that can tell me if the queen and future colony can tolerate both the move and the possible nearby activity? Or should I not get the colony now and wait til they’re available again?

What is causing this and how can I fix it

My first thought is pest damage, and it could be this though I don’t see anything on there. What can I do?

How would grafting effect mesc content of TBM-b?

I have always heard with lophophora that grafting results in a more “diluted” alkaloid content. Would the same be true for tbm? If so, to what extent? Is it any more or less efficient than growing on its own roots?

Any high alkaloid, shorter spined strain recommendations?

Hey yall, I’m looking for a good strain to grow indoors that has high, consistent alkaloid content for future dosing. I will be growing indoors under grow lights, and I would prefer something that looks nice with defined ribs and spines on the shorter side. Also if any of yall could recommend somewhere to look for cuttings that would be appreciated, thanks!

Slow colonization, also should I B&S?

I inoculated these two grain bags (I think they were from north spore) with ~5 ml each of golden teacher liquid culture from a well reviewed vendor on March 17th. I feel like the mycelium is growing slower than I expected, any ideas as to why? Also, is it time to break and shake or should I wait? Any advice is appreciated, thank you!

Id?

It was sold as diffusa, but I just want to make sure. I will be repotting into better soil soon, this is just what they had it in, and it was very thirsty so I wanted to water before repotting.
