On the fence with Venu 4 (smart wake feature)

Hi,

I have Venu 2S, and have been considering upgrading to Venu 4. But I couldn't shake the thought that I would overpay, as what I am looking for are: smart wake, sleep monitor and insight, and ECG.

Without the smart wake, I could easily go with Venu 3.

I considered the Fitbit Sense 2, however, it needs the app to process the sleep report, and there is no option to turn off the Bluetooth. I like the Garmin interface better. Oh, also, I was thinking about Galaxy Watch, but I don't have a Samsung smartphone, so many features are disabled, so no go.

Is there a better alternative? Like perhaps installing a third party app on Venu 3?

Did I get Frozen Silent V2?

Hi, I may overthink this.

I got TTC Frozen Silent V2 from Milktooth, and the label on the ziplog bag says "Silent Frozen", there is no "V2" on it.

So I was worried that I might accidentally get the V1.

I searched online, at first I thought V2 only comes in 5-pin and full transparent, but later I found that's not the case. Some part of the bottom is frosty white and it came in both 3-pin and 5-pin.

I wish they had 5-pin, but it looks like most sellers carry the 3-pin.

I was unable to find any pictures online for V1, but I am 99% sure mine is V2.

I used it on Keychron V3, which supports 5-pin. How's your experience with 3-pin vs. 5-pin? Did you notice any difference?

Durgod K320 Corona Hot Swappable verification and build

Hi, I found this Durgod keyboard with backlight and hot-swappable (per the description on their website). It's the same K320 but it's Corona Space Gray with backlight. Maybe this is a new model, as I searched everywhere and nobody mentioned that it's hot-swappable. Also it's listed on their website only.

Can anyone confirm that it is a new model and hot-swappable? Also if it's not a new model, please let me know how your experience is with it (build quality).

Durgod K320 (Corona) Hot-Swappable

Hi, I found this Durgod keyboard with backlight and hot-swappable (per the description on their website, link attached). It's the same K320 but it's Corona, not Taurus. Maybe this is a new model, as I searched anywhere and nobody mentioned that it's hot-swappable.

Anyone can confirm that it is a new model and hot-swappable?

Varmilo Minilo reliability

Hi,

I checked the review on the Varmilo website for Minilo 75%, and there were some complaints on the quality.

I searched Reddit, and I was unable to find any reliability review. For those who have this keyboard, how was your experience with it?

Got unlucky with Cyberpad Home

Hi,

I am very disappointed with the Cyberpad Home I got. It's DOA.

I lubricated it immediately before even turning it on. Restore back the belt tightness to the original (per the instruction), it ran for less than 2 sec, heard some noise, and E04 error popped up (over current).

After doing some research, it says that the belt could be too tight. I also read that it should be loose enough that I should be able to move it by hand when it's off. I loosened the belt, and then the motor didn't even move and went straight to E04 error.

I read some comments to open up the motor compartment to check, but it's not easy as I need to remove the two rubber pads that hold it steady when it is in a vertical position.

So, I decided to return it. It's a pain to pack it back in.

What would you do in my situation? Have you ever encountered E04 error?

Also, I saw the spreadsheet (datasheet) with the specs and recommendations. Is reliability also a determining factor to make them to the fave list?

Saw this for the second time

First time I found these on the kitchen door to the garage. I cleaned it up, and a week later a few of these appeared on different spots. Is it excrement from animals?

Ask for recommendation for quiet TKL with good build

Hi,

I don't know which one to get. I want to replace the Logitech K845 at my workplace with something quieter.

My plan is to pick a hot-swappable keyboard and replace the switch with TTC Frozen Silent V2.

What I look for:

- Quiet build - has a good built-in dampening mechanism, and gasket perhaps.

- PBT keycap

- Solid feel build (doesn't have to feel premium)

- TKL

- Wired

- Reliable (good longevity)

- Black

So, I have been eyeing C2 Pro, V3, and Q3. Unfortunately, all of these are out of stock. I read about some issues with the newer models (the 8K), and I also read about the recommendation for C1 Pro because of this. However, C1 Pro doesn't have dampening, and the black is not available.

Which one should I get? I prefer older models (try to avoid the 8K due to issues with newer models), but I am afraid they have been phased out. Should I go with V3 8K? Any older model recommendations that are still available?

Hi,

Last Thu (April 23, 2026) I placed an order of Flint 2 from GL.Inet US store as they offer 15% off. Shortly I saw the post here about the FCC ban (supposedly for the new model).

My order is not shipped yet, I understand it's been only 2 business days. I hope I will see some movement tomorrow.

I was just wondering if Flint 2 is banned in the US. Can someone confirm that Flint 2 is not affected?

Also, for those who ordered directly, how long did you need to wait before it was shipped?
