What new to do and what is the common mistakes to avoid in my new clinic+pharmacy in Bengaluru?

I'm a general physician and starting my own practice, starting with an evening opd for 6 months along with full time pharmacy and lab tests.

I'm located in a residential layout in Chandapura Bengaluru. Most of the crowd is upper middle class and HNI, and any good clinic is on the main road around 2-3 km, and a good hospital is around ~10 kms.

My USP is clean, reliable professional medical care near their house.

I'm prepared to wait for 6 months - 1yr to drain my savings to build a name and reputation.

I'm planning health camp on Sunday (suggest timing)

In the apartment complexes and individual streets for promotion. Keeping a discount on first consultation and competitive prices. Will be training staff in soft skills and education regarding medical assistance.

What else should I pay attention to?

Need a Pharmacist and clinical Nurse

Need a pharmacist and a Staff nurse for a clinic in Bangalore

Hello everyone,

I'm looking for enthusiastic freshers/new Pharma graduates and GNM/Bsc nursing graduates near Bommasandra, Bengaluru, for a new in-house pharmacy in a clinic.

It'll be a great learning opportunity and the pay is decent, if interested kindly DM me with a resume, also please suggest to your friends in and around the area.

Thank you for your patience 🙏🏻

P.S: where do I look for genuine ppl to work with? Everyone seems so sus these days. All resumes I've received from job portals look so scammy, since when did Medical reps start practicing pharmacist jobs💁🏻‍♂️

and since when did compounders start giving IV and IM injections 💁🏻‍♂️ and call themselves nurses?

So many things are wrong in the medical field today. Someone should really hold them accountable.

Any street play clubs

Hi everyone,

I'd like to know if anyone is aware of any street play clubs in Bengaluru, not necessarily professionals but college groups or company clubs who are enthusiastic about street play and spreading a message through it.

Language: English/Kannada.

How to transfer Licence from AP to Karnataka?

Hi everyone,

So my Sister Passed B pharma 10 yrs ago in AP but she never pursued further studies, she was married and sent to Bangalore. She was never allowed to pursue her career/academics, her in-laws were very narrow minded ppl.

Now she's finally getting divorced from that toxic family.

She needs to be financially independent for her 2 children. She wants to start her own pharmacy so that she can take care of her child and make a steady income. Please help to transfer her license from AP to Karnataka.

Thank you

Hi Everyone,

I've rented a 800 sqft commercial space in a first floor of a 3 storey building. This isn't on the roadside but it's in the housing society layout, so it really needs time to grow and this is my first time starting my own clinic and the prices I'm hearing from ppl are shocking to say the least.

So I've a 5yr contract with landlord, but still am looking to shift the maximum furniture if I'm to shift.

Some basic information about the building, it's a closed space, only a Wooden (teak) door and a toilet (has exhaust) but no windows. So I need a Doctor's cabin (10x10), Minor OT (10x10), Observation room (26x10), Pharmacy in the entrance and reception near the entrance and seating area.

So here are my queries:

* What is the gypsum/cement wood cost per sqft with labour, as I'm thinking of using it for partition walls.

* I need pharmacy cabinets and drawers, what is the laminated MR plywood rate /sqft, with labour.

* What is the rate for wpvc storage Cabinets for 13x4 ft, above the closed staircase next to the toilet area. (Is there a cheaper alternative without compromising the durability.)

* What is the cost of flush doors or membrane doors?

Also cost of sliding door for the entrance along with the wooden door (because I don't want to waste money on an air curtain and electricity to save energy of AC)

* If I have to connect the handwash in ot to the toilet, in a first floor with tiles, do they have to break the wall and mould?

* I'm planning to install 2 exhaust in doctor's room and observation room for some air circulation, time to time.

* Is two, 2 ton AC on 90 degrees enough for this place with partitions (do I need to give a 6 inch gap near the ceiling during partition? Or just give air vents in the doors and walls? To circulate the air?

* What colour theme should I go for a clinic+pharmacy and lab setup?, I don't want to give away the routine hospital, clinic vibe, which is scary and bland (atleast to me). I'm looking to attract families and develop trust in an upper middle class locality, any suggestions marketing wise and according to your expertise is more welcome.
