Because she did other things that would had needed more effort and time to do so than just increasing the personality of a character that was there.

In the end of act 1 monika was able to make sayori’s death sprite animation. in act 2 monika was able to make everything red (this was also meant to be in sayori’s pov and this can happen at a chance) and making everything static. And in act 3 monika was able to get rid of almost everything that arent meant to be a file and she also mades you stop using the skip button (if you try to use it) And finally she was able to restore the entire game without any problems. All of this seems like taken more effort to do so (especially her destroying almost everything and restoring it without any problems) than messing with a character file

For those who don’t know. Her father (kirk burbank) accidentally drowned when a storm was happening in a boat when she was a child and while we don’t know much about him. It shows how much he loved her

This might explain why monika tried to make her father to be more abusive. She tries to give out a generational trauma

Sorry if this is little dumb but do we actually see monika doing anything that qualifies her as athletic? Because she appears to be the “lazy” one by telling others what to do with the festival to prepare for them
