These are all good songs. Me, I'd love Blue (Da Ba Dee). I think it could make it, and I believe it was in Rock Band before. All Star would be amazing if they ever got a Shrek skin as well.
The amount of times I've died because someone just comes up to me and there's 0 footsteps whatsoever are innumerable (and on quiet surroundings btw), and I'm not even talking just Battle Royale.
I was rebooting the other day and I got rushed and I heard NOTHING and out of nowhere I see some guy jumping me.
Even worse for other people still is that sometimes the visual audio won't show shit when you can actually hear something, yet it detects some sound happening a million miles away.
Is anyone else feeling this or am I the deaf one? No, I didn't post this after getting killed, thanks for asking. (This is a lie)
I took one 12 hours ago and it was fine, but I did take a Levocetirizine an hour after. Is it possible that helped shield a possible allergy? Should I keep taking it or drop it?
There's been two instances of this now, and I hope they fix it.
The other day I queued and there was someone with their VC on, and they chose Pro Vocals for the first two songs, and I heard their voice feed the whole time, and I had to mute them because otherwise it'd confuse me too (I had Pro Vocals as well).
Today, I went into a set, and there was someone (not with any vocals) with VC on all set long, and you could hear their game through their mic. I did Pro Vocals for two songs. The first one went okay, but the second one was *Seven Nation Army* (if it matters), and near the end (after a break) I could hear myself on his game, despite having my microphone muted with press to talk, and not having heard myself until that point.
This needs to be fixed, not only because shyness or whatever, but it can disrupt the game for others.
Personally, I don't play as much Battle Royale as I used to. I don't think this skin will be my main or anything, but I wonder how many of you think it's a drag to go through all that, especially with stuff like the Zero Point sprite.
Also, besides the point, but I think they should allow you to equip the golden sprites as well.
Anyway, do you agree or do you think it makes it far more interesting?
Literally got all my settings reset because fuck you, on Xbox. No wonder my % were fucked. Even got reset to 60 FPS mode.
Now I have to accustom myself to my old latency again. Fuck me.
I've never listened any of the Beach Boys' albums. I decided to finally give Pet Sounds after putting off listening to it, and it's amazing!
This record really sounds ahead of its time... 1966? It really doesn't sound like it... You could say it just wasn't made for those times! (haha... hah...) I love this ethereal, almost dream-like quality about the whole thing. It really is beyond what I expected. The harmonies, the layers of instruments never failed to give me shivers down my spine, especially Don't Talk... Also I have to say that Let's Go Away for Awhile really reminded me of Arthur Lyman's Yellow Bird...
I think my top 5 tracks at the moment are: Wouldn't It Be Nice, God Only Knows, Don't Talk (Put Your Head on My Shoulder), Caroline No, and Sloop John B.
The stereo mix really made me appreciate the harmonies, and all the work that went into this, and made it feel even more out of this world! The mono mix has more punch, the voice is front and center, and it fits the mood of some songs better compared to stereo (Don't Talk is one I can think about). I enjoy the wall of sound, and I'm talking headphones! I can imagine on speakers...
I'll definitely be revisiting this album. It truly deserves more listens!
To clarify, I'm not a R.E.M. superfan, I just love some of their songs. I keep putting off listening to their records (I have lots of albums of all kind I want to listen, and I always put them off).
Anyway, am I wrong in thinking the music, at least from their biggest hits, sounds British? When I think of the time, I feel like they wouldn't be out of place during the Britpop craze.
I like Imitation of Life, Man on the Moon, What's the Frequency, Kenneth?, Losing My Religion, Daysleeper, Everybody Hurts, and I feel like ALL of them would fit perfectly for British music at that time.
What do y'all think?
I hate that I was playing Warzone around the time of this season... I missed out on this amazing guy. He's definitely one of my favourite skins, and sadly I can't have it.
Imagine if they did one this Halloween :D
"Does it worry you to be alone?"
"Are you sad because you're on your own?"
"Do you need anybody?"
Added to that, the melody itself is a bit melancholic.
And then when Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds comes 'round, it's a psychedelic trip relieving you from the pain.
Anyone else see it that way?
I'm not too like fully immersed or crazy into prog, but I had curiosity of hearing this album after listening to The Wizard, and I really enjoyed it! Never heard a single Uriah Heep song prior to this point.
My favourite track was definitely The Spell. Love the guitar solo bit with the harmonies in the back, that followed by the piano. Listening to that at night was so relaxing. I could imagine myself under the stars....
What do you guys think of this album?
From the top of my head, No One Noticed would benefit from some empty space on the switch from lead vocals to harmonies during the chorus. "May have lost it (Need a virtual connection)", adding the empty space during "need", for example, instead of having the empty spaces on the verses.
I can't recall a specific song, but I don't like how some songs with fast sections have notes on them, yet some that you can argue are slower don't.
But what are other songs you think would benefit from some changes?
Title. There's an interesting Yamaha deck I've been eyeing, and, according to the seller, the tape counter isn't working. Allegedly, the rest is in "100%" condition. I'm just wondering to know if I should be prepared to spend on new belts and such.
Should I be asking for more details as well?
I think it was present at House of Kong, but I don't think they ever acknowledged it on any interviews, say how they were approached or anything of that nature, did they?
I loved the collab, but I find it strange how I never saw them publicly comment on it as such.
