Phanes: "I'm not mad, I'm just disappointed."
Ronova: "So you hate me and think that I haven't done anything right since the day I was born?"
Phanes: "???"

Wakey-wakey Fatui. The enemies aren't above the sky, they're literally beside you
If the theory of Mitya being an angel is true, then what do you think his wings would be? Nicole has those ribbon like wings while Ronova has something alike crows—then there's Zibai whose wings are barely visible at all
A question whether Ronova was actually punished or was only reprimanded. One one hand, I see people saying how the Heavenly Principles punished her enough to make her anxious but I think I also saw another say that the Heavenly Principles was only disappointed and that's all. What exactly happened?
If you can provide source it would be very helpful!
I know we're all having festivity with the nuke memes and stuff but we also know that the Heavenly Principles wasn't at all uncaring and bloodthirsty towards humanity like how others try to portray them to be.
In the book Before Sun and Moon, it said that Humanity was the Heavenly Principles' most cherished. And yet in my years of playing this game, I have never once saw somebody wonder how HP felt when they were forced to choose to kill a certain population of their cherished children just to save the whole bunch.
Not even just that, it came to the point that they started to become paranoid because of it. It took me back to Scaramouche's story, if this puppet made to be a standby for God could only take three betrayals, then what more could Phanes take before they snap from being backstabbed by their own children and supposed family?
Tsaritsa's plan and so is many people's wish is to take down Phanes. But after that, what then? Phanes, despite their harsh decisions, is the one protecting Teyvat from the grand scale threat the Abyss. If they kill Phanes then the security they brought will *probably* go down too, do you think the Tsaritsa and those who wants to kill them had thought for a plan against being swarmed by the Abyss?
Ei and Scaramouche reconciliation shouldn't happen.
Or at least I think so.
Ei abandoned Kabukimono without anybody to even check on him—in a not-safe pavilion where he got trapped for years until he lost his sense of time. She left and neglected Kabukimono which became his one of the main reasons for his downfall. Even if she abandoned him out of sympathy, she didn't even bother to check up on how he was doing even after 500 years, thus showing little to no care.
The only misunderstanding Scaramouche had was that Ei abandoned him because he was too weak(which isn't much of a misunderstanding since she did thought he was too fragile), the only thing he was missing was that she only wanted him to be free. The thing is, it's only a small misunderstanding that wouldn't change the fact that what she did was hurtful albeit unintentionally, but extremely hurtful regardless.
Extended to that, I don't know why people would think Ei would automatically act like a grieving mother if she remembers Scaramouche, I think she would be more lost than anything.
I also don't think that Wanderer *needs* to reconcile Ei to complete his arc? Meet, sure— know the reason, sure—but **complete acceptance and make up**? I actually think that will lessen his humanity/roundness of character(complexity). I won't explain how but I know the feeling of a family leaving you with no intention of being malicious, and you wanting to understand but still feeling hurt because you were left alone in an incredibly shitty environment that will most likely shape you for the rest of your life. Like you understand but that doesn't erase whatever damage happened. I think feeling this way is the most human thing a character could feel and I think removing this complexity just to ensure every character is all friends and happy is just... not fitting for the "puppet but human at heart".
This has been on my mind for years, ever since Sumeru came out but most people I've seen wanted the opposite so I just shut my mouth. Even so, it really feels like my brain is getting hammered because of it. I don't know, maybe I'm wrong, or delusional. What do you guys think?
Edit: also I don't want Wanderer to act like a broken hearted child anymore, maybe pissed off yes but he's more mature these days and has found his footing. That's the point of him gaining his vision and blending in Sumeru. Although he does have his little moments of lapse which is okay, trauma doesn't disappear randomly but I don't want the kind of "sees Ei", "can't handle the tears and anger and hate", "crashes out".
Noticed there's always enough hate but not enough glaze so I had to post this. Didn't know what flair I should use tho(if you see this on another app, that's mine, so I didn't steal nothin)
I haven't done Roscaelifer and would like an honest rating of how good it is compared to Waifei, I know it's probably unfair because we're still early in the version 3.X but ever since I finished Waifei my "non-skipping reader" self's been burnt out by the... lack of enjoyment I got from it.
In short, I want to know good Roscaelifer is in others eyes so that I would have motivation to play through it. So what are your early ratings?
First off, i full on don't believe he was on the train to "redemption station" but i saw a very interesting take a few days ago.
Apparently, there's a take that Dottore was actually working on himself and becoming a better person off-screen, the Dottore that we saw last. And while i like Dottore, i'm no expert on his character. I was *very* confused, like what prompted that theory? was there any signs? the only backing they kept telling was that there was no proof of Dottore showing signs that he wanted to get worse therefore there was no proof that he didn't want to become a better person.
Since i don't deep dive in Dottore's character, i know i'm bound to fall for mischaracterization here and there but that's exactly why i came here, i know someone here must be an expert for him
