New series coming

I’m working on a brand‑new book series called Milo Finch and the Wonky School Series, and I’m really excited about it. The series is still in the works, but I’ve been planning out the stories and building the world. There’s a lot of silly, strange, and funny stuff happening in these books, and I think kids will have a great time reading them.

The series is about a boy named Milo Finch who goes to the wonkiest school ever. His school is not normal at all. Some classrooms float, some hallways move around, and sometimes the school acts like it’s alive. Milo never knows what will happen next, and every day feels like a brand‑new adventure. He has to deal with weird teachers, strange rooms, and surprises that pop up out of nowhere.

If you love the Wayside School series, you will love this too. It has the same silly, goofy feeling, but everything is original and new. I’m working hard to make the stories fun, easy to read, and full of wild moments that make you laugh. I can’t wait to share more as the series grows and gets closer to being finished.

Hey everyone! I’m trying to dive deeper into the Star Wars books, but the timeline is huge and a little overwhelming. I’d love some guidance from people who’ve actually read through the different eras.

What I’m looking for:

• Character‑driven stories
• Good starting points for beginners

My top 3 bibles

I’m autistic, and my brain understands things best when they’re simple, clear, and not overwhelming. Because of that, I’ve always used kids or easy‑read Bible versions. It’s not about being “less smart.” It’s about using what actually helps my brain stay calm and understand God’s Word.

Here are my top 3 versions I used growing up and still use today:

  1. NIrV — New International Reader’s Version

This one breaks everything into short sentences and simple words. It feels steady and peaceful to read. Great for when my brain gets overloaded easily.

  1. ERV — Easy‑to‑Read Version

This is my comfort Bible. It’s clear, gentle, and straight to the point. No big confusing words. Just calm, simple truth.

  1. ICB — International Children’s Bible

Yes, it’s a kids Bible. And yes, it works for me as an autistic adult. The language is visual, easy, and broken down step by step. It helps me actually understand instead of getting lost.

Using these versions doesn’t make me “childish.” It just means I know how my brain works. God meets us where we are, and these versions help me connect with Him in a way that feels safe and clear.
