Refundable to Original Form of Payment Tickets no longer bookable <24hr before departure?

Just noticed today that for some reason you can no longer book refundable tickets <24 hr before departure. Is there some sort of glitch because it was still possible yesterday?

Qantas SYD DOM to INTL Shuttle

I am flying into SYD from BNE on a QF domestic flight and will be connecting to JL for SYD-HND. Will QF let me use their shuttle between T3 and T1?

Edit: Under one ticket issued by JAL (131 stock)

Wrong DOB on reservation. AA refuses to cancel/refund/change reservation.

I accidentally filled in the wrong DOB but AA refuses to help me cancel refund or change my reservation. It is within 24 hours of booking so it does qualify for a full refund. What should I do because I also no longer plan to take the flight?

Edit: AA requires the correct DOB to access or change your reservation unlike most other airlines where the last name and PNR works just fine (and email address or phone number as alternative ways to verify when calling/chatting). Please take note of this before commenting.

Edit 2: Thank you everyone for your responses. I was just able to get it canceled after calling.

NEXUS revoked

My NEXUS was revoked in January and during December I flew LAX-YVR-LAX-EWR/JFK-HND as it was cheaper to buy a ticket from YVR.

I was called to secondary inspection at YVR pre clearance and the CBP officer just waved me through after conducting a quick carry-on baggage search.

I also just explained to the officer that I was able to book a $300 round trip fare between YVR and HND which is why I am flying up to Canada and back to LAX within a few hours.

I wasn’t found to have brought in anything that I wasn’t supposed to bring but other than that I can’t really see why there is any reason why my NEXUS would be revoked. Do they revoke Nexus or even global entry memberships for weird travel patterns such as this quick 3 hour turnaround at YVR?

I already filed a FOIA request, but it is taking them some time. How long does it take for those to be processed?

I also filed a DHS Trip request and got a redress number. Other than these 2 things, is there anything else I need to do before appealing?

Edit: I also had to enter Canada before rechecking in for my flight to LAX but I wasn’t questioned or sent to additional inspection by CBSA.

Edit 2: My Nexus membership was through my US passport and I don’t have Canadian citizenship or PR.

Loyalty Points on an AA-marketed and operated flight credited by distance?

I recently flew LAX-JFK on a ticket purchased through AA yet the loyalty points I got was credited by distance (which was a win since my original ticket costed around $500).

I was rerouted from LAX-ORD-LHR to LAX-JFK-LHR, but I am not sure if that is the reason?

On another ticket that I was rerouted on, the loyalty points earned was still based on the ticket price after the reroute.

Joint Ventures/Deeper Alliance Partnerships in the future?

Currently irl, all the three major alliances have joint venture/business partnerships across the transpacific/transatlantic/Europe<->Asia markets, and for Star Alliance and Oneworld, Northeast Asia<->Southeast Asia, and North America<->Oceania.

Would some sort of a revenue sharing partnership be implemented in the future or is being considered?

Or at least some form of a deeper partnership that generates slightly more revenue than a simple codeshare.

Is there a way to know which 772 config beforehand?

Flying on DFW-NRT soon, but is there a way to check the 772 config that they use?

If not, can someone who frequently flies this route let me know if they usually use the Concept D or Super Diamond config?

Distorted Polar Routes after v1.26?

This definitely wasn’t a thing before but the routes that go near the pole go around the pole rather than through it.

Visa sided with merchant in Dispute Arbitration, next steps?

The charge was from a US Chase card.

The reason for the dispute was with Air Canada where there was a delay and they refused to rebook me.

Chase or VISA responded saying that they were ready to provide the service but it was because of the delay that you were unable to take their service, and in this case I cannot dispute the charge as “service not provided”, which is utter BS imo.

What can I do next? I have already escalated this to the executive office at Chase and I still got the same response.

At this point, is a lawsuit the only option to get my money back? I am also going to file a DOT complaint but they don’t have the ability to force airlines to refund.

Edit: Air Canada also denied my refund request saying that they are not going to refund due to a delay caused by a partner airline.
