Normally, the MikroTik can be detected directly via WinBox, or you have to put it onto the ...88.0 network. Although instructions were included, they don't seem to be tailored to the cAP lit. Although I have to say, I’ve only had routers so far and nothing with Wi-Fi AC.

The current behavior is such that when I restart the Cap Lite, the MikroTik appears briefly in WinBox—but with a 0.0.0.0 address. Then it disappears.

I’ve also reset the cAP lite before, following this description.

"Hold this button during boot time until LED light starts flashing, release the button to reset RouterOS configuration (total 5 seconds)."

1.) Press Button
1.1) Edit: Plug in POE/Cable
2.) Wait until the LEDs flash.
3.) Release the button
4.) After that, the OS is reset, but I don't know to what state.

Ironically, the CapLite picked up a DHCP address on my network, and I can ping it. However, it doesn't show up anywhere in winbox., I suspect it's stuck in some sort of mode? Maybe I'm performing the wrong reset.

I can simply assign the IP address 192.168.88.2 to my PC—with or without the gateway 192.168.88.1—and connect it directly or via a switch; WinBox ought to find the devices then, right? That should definitely work.

kennt Jemand ausfährliche Handouts/Vorlagen wie Datenschränke korrekt aufgestellt werden müssen, ohne es jetzt aus irgendwelchen Normen herzuleiten? Einfach Ein Leitfaden für die Praxis? Ich meine damit wirklich die Aufstellung/Aufstellungsort/Aufstellungsumgebung und Kernbestückung.

Problem ist, dass es bei diversen Standorten schon Probleme mit Elektrofimen gab. Die Probleme werden immer erst NACH Fertigstellung bemängel, aber man müsste schon VORHER intervenieren.

D.h., als Kunde wäre es teilweise gut wenn man da auch einen fachlichen Blick drauf werfen könne und Hinweise geben könnte.

irgendwelche assozialen Leute haben letzte Woche vier Verteilerkästen für den Ortsteil komplett schwarz angemalt. Da hängt vmtl. auch mein DSL-Internet dran. Ich weiß nicht was in diese Kästen eingebaut ist, andere Kästen haben definitiv aktive Technik. Das ist ja nicht alles passive Technik.

Jetzt hat Schwarz ja die Eigenschaft Licht zu absorbieren, deshalb sind die Kästen vmtl. auch weiß/grau. Wären die Kästen aus Metall würden diese total glühen, aber auch Plastrik dürfte ja warm werden.

1.) Wo meldet man sowas bei der Telekom? (Hotline kann man vergessen)
2.) Gibt es hier das Risiko, dass (evtl. auch langfristig) durch eine höhere Temperatur irgendwelche Bauteile schaden nehmen könnten und ich mal ohne Internet das stehe? Die alten Leute haben teilweise noch "analoge Telefonanschlüsse". Ich weiß nicht wo diese Wandler sind, ob die auch in den Kästen sind oder dann in den größeren Vermittlungsstellen.

I have a Windows 11 Pro (25H2 26200.8655) system with an SSD (Fujitsu Q558), and I’ve increasingly noticed lately that the fans run when the PC is at the Windows lock screen. The PC isn't in sleep mode, but you would normally expect the fans not to run so often since no one is actively using the machine. I suspect something runs particularly often when I'm not at the PC.

I tried tracking something using PerfMon. I might be misinterpreting it, but it looks like something labeled "MsMpEng" is running while the lock screen is active. That would presumably be the "Antimalware Service Executable" (MsMpEng.exe) from Windows? At the very least, the short clip makes it appear that the program could be running at this time.

is there anything to watch out for when installing LibreOffice alongside MS Office on Windows 11 where MS Office is to remain the default program, and LibreOffice is used for just two applications that don't really interact with Word documents?

-Deselect file associations during installation.
-In Windows, register LibreOffice as the default only for .odf files. '
-In LibreOffice settings, select the standard OD formats as the save format (this is usually the default anyway).

That’s all there is to it; nothing should go wrong? Any scenario where problems might arise? At most, if you open an .xlsx file in LibreCalc and save it. But that shouldn't happen.

ich würde eine ISO auf CD brennen. Wenn mal was war, habe ich meist CDBurnerXP oder IMGBurn benutzt.

Ich wollte mir jetzt CDBurnerXP über die offizielle Seite runterladen, wobei CDBurnerXP vmtl. nicht mal die beste Option ist. (https://cdburnerxp.se/), aber Error 403. Laut Waybackmaschine war die Seite im April noch da.

ich suche ein Reduzierstück auf HT-Rohr DN40 was aber so geformt und breit ist, dass ich ich in den größeren Durchmesser noch ein DN40 bekommt (siehe Beispielbild).

Bei den normalen Reduzierstücken ist das Reduzierstück nicht mittig sondern seitlich, ich kann kein Rohr im Roh machen.

Mir helfen auch Suchbegroffe o.ä. Wenn es kein Reduziertstück ist auch egal, ich muss nur ein größeres HT-Rohr so wie abgebildet über das Rohr bekommen. Nichts kleben, entweder mit Dichtung oder Schraubbar. Das Ganze soll eine Art Filter für werden, ich muss es also noch gut abstecken könnten.

Lenovo claims that Lenovo docking stations (urely depends on the specific model) are generally compatible with laptops from other manufacturers, such as HP, Apple....

Question: Where does compatibility begin, and where does it end?

Lenovo docking stations, for instance, feature a power button. I find it hard to imagine that this would work with models from other manufacturers. Which functions are supported? Which are not? How does one actually know if a laptop is compatible? What about features like WoL? Where might problems arise?

in vanilla *Empire: Total War*, I have never actually used Platoon Fire—and, whenever possible, I haven't even researched it. I did this simply based on instinct, as it struck me as being extremely poor. That pisses me off about the game big time.

There are various discussions on the internet regarding whether "Fire by Rank" is superior—often with a clear "winner," but rarely based on actual facts or game mechanics

My decision is based on two reasons:
-With Fire by Rank, firing resumes immediately after reloading. With Platoon Fire, the soldiers reload but wait until it is their turn again. This seems extremely ineffective even if one would still have to factor in the unit animations for Fire By Rank
-When two units clash, Fire by Rank units ensures that all barrels are emptied first. This means that more soldiers on the opposing side are killed—soldiers who are then unable to return fire.

BUT how is this reflected in the game mechanics? Which values ​​are calculated, and how? It also appears that, with "Fire By Rank," the individual ranks possess different accuracy values.

i have an old BrightSign Hd1022 media player that was running a BrightAuthor project from an SD card.

In the best case, I would like to extract the image and video files from the SD card. If that’s not possible, is there any way to run the same project on a newer BrightSign player model? t think, both options are not possible anere there is NO way?

There is a "pool" folder present on the card, but everything is probably hashed in some way, or in a special format.

ich suche einen Wasserzähler für ein Regenwassertank. Einfach um die verbrauchte Menge bzw. in dem Fall auch den Überlauf (wenn das Fass voll ist) und zu erfassen. Der große Regenwassertank wird regelmäßig in andere Fässer umgefüllt.

Der Wasserzähler soll am unteren Ende des Fasses in einen Siphon eingebaut werden, damit der Zähler immer im Wasser steht. Grober und kleiner Dreck wird vorher durch Sieb/Netz ausgefiltert. Der Tank wird einmal im Jahr gesäubert, ebenso wird auch alles im Winter angebaut und gewartet

Frage: Welchen GÜNSTIGEN und GUTEN Wasserzähler kann man hier emfehlen? Er soll kleine Mengen gut messen können (Nieselregen) und auch Starkregen. Der Zulauf kommt von einem 35m² Flachdach.

Das Ganze soll auch dazu dienen Statistik zu führen, damit ich abschätzen kann wann wie viel Regen fällt bzw. es auch mit dem Wetterbericht abgleicheb kann. Der Tank wird auch regelmäßig in andere Fässer umgefüllt. Es ist nicht immer einfach abzuschätzen wann ich wie viel in welches Fass fülllen kann

i own a "DS-2DE2A204IW". For reasons unknown to me, it is only possible to save snapshots via FTP. Videos cannot be saved this way; however, you can save videos to the NAS, which I have mounted via NFS.

At night, I record event-triggered videos, which are saved to the NAS.
However, I would also like to capture snapshots for a timeline simultaneously (or, if necessary, only during the day). I would really prefer to save these images exclusively to the FTP server, as it is simpler.

I have the following problem:
The photos are being captured. However, Hikvision is saving them to the FTP server AND to the NAS. I now want to configure it so that they are saved only to the FTP-Server?

Is there a solution for this?
