Has anyone been on tirzepatide and went back to semaglutide?

I started the GLP1 journey on sema and had some pretty decent success. Was on it about 3 months losing about 25lbs so on the higher end of about 2lbs a week. Around this 3 month mark at 0.75mg dose I went on a vacation which included heavy drinking, and on return my doctor wanted a blood test since I was on the medication 3 months and my liver enzyme levels were abnormally high so he pulled me off the medication to see what was going on and if sema was not the cause. Levels returned to normal and a month later I was back on sema, but the doctor said since i was off for a month I have to restart at the 0.25mg dose again. I figured since I am starting from the beginning, lets try tirzepatide.

Switched to tirz and it has been 3 months so far, I am up to the 7.5mg dose and have seen very little progress. Progress being so slow I have been ultra careful about my diet and exercise and I am starting to wonder if the medication is even helping or if me being super careful about my diet and exercise is really what is making the scale change. On sema, I didn't even have to pay much attention to my diet, I wasn't making poor choices but just eating normal had weight coming off.

Overall I am thinking of switching back to semaglutide to see if that helps. I was curious if anyone else has done the same and if they have experiences they can share.

Recommended jewelry insurance

Currently have my jewelry insured under a homeowners insurance policy but feel due to the value it may be more appropriate to have a jewelry specific insurance policy. Any recommendations?

Lunch today - 500 calories, 68g of protein

Salmon Burger patty - Trident brand 170 calories and 20g protein each (made in air fryer) |

Buns - Lewis Bakery protein buns - 80 calories and 14g protein each |

Lettuce, Tomato, lemon juice - negligible |

Was it good? I mean lets just say it looks better than it tastes and it doesn't really look like the most appetizing thing in the world. I won't go out of my way to eat this but for the nutrients it was alright. I will eat it again but not exactly going to be super eager to have this unless very hungry. I would give it a 5/10. |

Also since I rarely see people mention sodium and I like to track sodium, this is about 1200mg of sodium. So not exactly a low sodium type meal.

Jump up from 7.5mg to 10mg early?

Started tirz about 5 months ago, did a month on 2.5, then went to 5mg and was seeing steady progress so I left it at that for 4 months. For the last month I was on a work assignment out of state so I had no scale, I felt the appetite suppression so I just continued the 5mg dose. Was still mindful of what I ate during that time via calorie tracking. Work is heavy labor so the exercise was maintained. Came back home and stepped on the scale and over the last month I realized I am up about 7lbs in weight.

Decided to up the dose to 7.5mg and over the last 2 weeks am only down 1lb. I am debating just jumping up to 10mg for next dose even though I should technically be on 7.5mg for another 2 weeks. I have not had any side effects besides the appetite suppression.

Dumb idea or something to consider? In hindsight I probably should have just kept titrating up every 4 weeks and been on 15mg by now.

Question about making the switch from tirz to reta, and if I even should

Currently about 30lbs from my goal weight but am running out of my tirz supply pretty soon so am debating whether to continue taking tirz or if switching to reta would be beneficial.

The reason I am debating is because I am still on a 7.5mg dose of tirz, so half of the max 15mg. I would be on the 15mg dose of tirz if I titrated up every month but I opted not to as I still saw some progress staying on lower doses.

The internal debate I have is do I just stick with tirz and titrate up, or do I switch to reta and potentially see better results.

The goal is to lose the 30lbs in the next 4 months as I have a beach vacation in 4 months and would like to feel good on it. Considering the safe goal for losing weight is 2lbs a week, losing 30lbs in 2 months should be pretty doable paired with diet and exercise. I noticed with tirz my weight loss has slowed a bit to 1lb a week so I am going up to a 10mg dose upon refill (if I get a refill and dont switch to reta)

So I guess my question is for anyone who made the switch from tirz to reta, did you do it after already being on the max 15mg dose, and if not, what made you switch? Did you notice better results?

What brands/styles of jeans have less height in the waist section so the belt can sit around your waist without the "pancake butt" effect?

Specifically talking about the area here.

I find for the majority of jeans I own, this area here is too large. This causes the jeans at the belt area to sit around my waist, and there is a lot of extra space in the crotch area that hangs loose not in contact with skin and all that extra denim hanging makes it look like the wearer has a pancake butt.

This can be eliminated by pulling the jeans way up, but unless I tighten the belt way too tight to try and grip around my stomach, it is just not staying there. I need jeans where between the bottom of the belt loop and the top of the back pocket, there is like 2in of height removed.
