If the tube was operated by MTA instead of TFL…
I think it would have been far worse.

It’s not really common to see this line being suspended due to having only 2 stops.
The iBus screens that Go Ahead London and Transport UK uses on newer buses supposed to show the diagram containing the next few stops alongside the minutes to upcoming key stops. However, on route 22, none of the buses have fully working iBus screens with only key information like the upcoming stop and route number with destination being present. In addition to that, in around half of the buses, the iBus screens are fully blank with only time being present just like the one above. This is really becoming a bit annoying and I hope that these iBus screens get a fix soon so that everything is displayed properly in the vast majority of the buses including live minutes to stops and the red diagram with the next few stops. I also wonder if this is also a problem with other bus routes owned by Go Ahead London or Transport UK that uses new electric buses with this modern iBus screen?
The base model of L14 is still 200 dollars cheaper than lowest possible configuration of Framework Laptop 13 Pro but will come with 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD meaning this budget Thinkpad will cost the same as Framework Laptop 13 Pro for 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD.
It’s relatively rare nowadays to find an iPhone 15 Pro Max on iOS 17 yet it seems to be not allowed here because iOS 17 is still too new. Any iPhone in original firmware (other than possibly latest and one before) should be considered rare and legacy in my opinion.
I fully support UCL to use admissions tests for competitive courses but I am strongly against TARA to be used for engineering courses. They should use ESAT instead just like Imperial and Oxbridge does. It is a far better indicator of whether the student would do well in the course. TARA doesn’t even test on physics skills in first place. UCL should consider using ESAT instead for Mech Eng and TMUA for CS.
Under current plans, TFL would start running services from Moorgate to Stevenage and Welwyn Garden City as a part of London Overground network. But the fact that Moorgate being right next city of London and Bank station made me think that a Crossrail service running from North (Stevenage and Welwyn Garden City) to South West (possibly Epsom, Hampton Court and Chessington) would actually be a brilliant idea. The new Crossrail would use the current Northern City Line tracks north of Moorgate and the Moorgate terminus would simply be removed in favour of a new station that would connect to Moorgate Tube station from the North and Bank tube station from the south. South of Bank station, this new Crossrail would take over the Waterloo and City Line and then stop at Waterloo to provide major interchange to Waterloo and Waterloo East mainline stations. Following Waterloo, it would have a new station that would have an underground link to Battersea Power Station before continuing to Clapham Junction where the new line would connect to the existing SWR tracks and then continuing down south west. This would make a lot of sense and would also be more cost effective compared to the Elizabeth Line due to the fact that it will use existing tunnels, meaning less boring of new tunnels and maximum utilisation of existing services.
As far as some forum members suggested, Arriva London’s DW258 is the oldest London bus in service as of now with its plate being registered in November 2009. However, Go Ahead London still has WVL274 which had its plate being registered in October 2009. I wonder which one of these is actually older, being the oldest bus on TFL service?
I wonder which variant of Gemini 2 is the most reliable? VDL DB300, Volvo B9TL or Volvo B5LH? And which one is your favourite?
The fire alert was first reported on 21:30 by TFL and it still haven’t been solved until now. I am looking for updates on this situation.
