Not a good time, do not recommend.
Hope you all are having a great weekend, let those cueballs shine!
When I first bought this house, everything was a time capsule from the 70's. Even found a sheet of acid between my bar counter and the wall. Last week I posted a camp that I bought in New England, this is my main house that I’ve also gotten 90% renovated. Still need to figure out the wiring situation for my sound system and projector, as well as lighting, but I don’t feel like messing around with anything else right now. I was pretty much working, getting done, then coming downstairs to work until midnight. after 4 months, I finished and can now play video games while I hate run. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.
I'm having an identity crisis! My hair is probably 30% thin, so I shaved it all off and can't decide if I should grow it back and get a transplant or just rock the Mr. Clean.
This was a huge step for me. I've been fortunate to have a great career and wanted to have a place I could travel to with friends to go hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, etc. Today I cut ten keys and handed them out to my best friends, who will all have free reign of the place for them and their families. Heading up soon to replace the floors and windows, replace the garage with a small cabin, install Starlink and do some general maintenance.
It's by no means a glamor pad, I'll be there at most 2-3 months out of the year but I'm stoked to own a piece of my home state. The 22 hour drive is going to suck though🥲.
Edit: Well holy crap this got some attention. I'm going to make a second pussy of the scenery up there and I'll drop a link. Thanks everyone!
Edit edit: Post....POST!
I don't understand the business fascination with coffee shops in Knoxville. It's worse tha micro breweries were at their peak in Denver and Fort Collins. They're all doing basically the same thing as well, which makes it even worse and there's not a single one that I'd say is a good deal financially. I've also found that a lot of them use crappy acidic or sour tasting coffee that leaves me with heartburn and regret.
So, Knoxville business owners....I plead with you. Can we please do something original? No more coffee shops, no more Mexican restaurants, for the love of God. There are so many other things that we could use... French patisserie? Casual fried seafood restaurant, new bowling alley, Alamo Drafthouse, etc.
Hey All,
Just bought a truck and want to get a bedliner put in. What's the typical price around here, and are there any places known for crappy work or price gouging that I should avoid? Normally I'd do something like this myself but I don't have the time or space currently to sand paint off, tape, spray, etc. Thanks for any info you can provide!
i’m sure most of you have noticed, you can go into almost any Reddit thread or buzzfeed article about bad drivers and it’s always RAM truck drivers getting called out for doing some stupid shit. I never notice someone calling out Tundra owners for behaving badly. is it the same as the notion that all Chrysler, Dodge and Nissan owners having bad credit?
I was sitting in traffic today on a day that happened to drive my truck instead of my car and came to the realization that probably 9 out of the 10 cars around me all assume I’m a douche because of that badge on my vehicle lol. Not gonna lie though, I still love my bro-dozer, little dick toy, douche canoe, enviro-raper, whatever you want to call it. I’m a big dude, it’s comfy and I feel safer thinking about the prospect of being rear ended in my truck than my sedan.
To any of you truck complainers, please excuse me. I need to take my $65,000 monster truck to go pick up a bag of mulch. I promise to use my blinkers and not tailgate though.
I have had fan cash sitting in my wallet for about a month and can’t decide what to buy. I’m only interested in an MJ, any input is appreciated!
