Considering how the most interesting material in the reissues is the earlier takes - why not make an “expanded single” releases? I mean - have a release for just one song, with ALL early takes included - culminating with final version. This way you can really follow the progress of each song from beginning to an end. I would rather have access to all takes instead of someone choosing the “most interesting” ones for the reissues. And accompany these with excerpts from Mark Lewisohn’s recording sessions.
