The hymn of Abberrane: "Делије Правде/Heroes of Justice".

I've wrote the hymn for the proud Christiandom of Abberrane, "Делије Правде/Heroes of Justice", it is in Serbian but it also has an approximate English translation, in parentheses:

"Делије Правде"

(Heroes of Justice)

"Док кујете мачеве,"

("While you smith your swords,")

"Аберињски синови,"

("Abberranean sons,")

"Постајете делије,"

("You shall return as heroes,")

"Крила своја винули."

("With wings flying above.")

"Чувари неба,"

("Guardians of the sky,")

"За свој род летите високо,"

("For your people, you fly,")

"Вините крила,"

("Spread your wings wide,")

"Над земљом својом."

("Above the ground, you shall fly.")

"Тамо на гори,"

("On that hill, there,")

"Тамо на гори,"

("On that hill, there,")

"Наш барјак се ви-јо-ри,"

("Our flag unfurls,")

"Синови наши,"

("My dear sons,")

"Велике 'тице праве,"

("What birds you are, flying far,")

"Наше Делије Правде!"

("Our Heroes of Justice!")

"Летите, синови,"

("Fly, my sons,")

"Над земљом својом,"

("Above the ground, you shall fly,")

"Ваша крв, проливена,"

("Your blood, dripping down,")

"За нас, ваш лет за слободом,"

("For us, your flight to freedom, in the sky,")

"Ту на небу,"

("Above in the sky,")

"Као велика чета,"

("Like one, you shall fly,")

"Летите, летите,"

("You shall fly, you shall fly,")

"Кроз перје вам хуји ветар."

("The wind of freedom wisps through your feathers.")

"Тамо на гори,"

("On that hill, there,")

"Тамо на гори,"

"Наш барјак се ви-јо-ри,"

My flag redesign for Yugoslavia, if it were still around today and decided to get rid of Communist symbolism.

I've decided to redesign the flag of Yugoslavia, but if it was still around today and decided to ditch the Socialist star.

So, the flag features the Yugoslav tricolour with a blue coat of arms in the middle.

The coat of arms features a torch flame in the middle (taken from the Yugoslav coat of arms, which featured a torch flame in the middle), with 6 points for the 6 republics.

In the inner flame is a white flame with 4 points, for the 4 mountain ranges Yugoslavia shares, from the Slovenian alps to the Dinarides in southern Yugoslavia.

My concept for a pan-Slavic flag, made by a Slav (me).

I've decided to create my own pan-Slavic flag, as i am unsatisfied with the current pan-Slavic tricolour due to its lack of creativity, coming from a Slav, and i also have decided to avoid using the Kolovrat, which those versed in Slavic history or symbols in general may know that it is a symbol with Slavic ties.

Why did i avoid using the Kolovrat?

It's simple:

The Kolovrat is a symbol which had sadly been appropriated by a number of extremist groups, tarnishing any use of it.

Instead, i used three stylized oak leaves.

Why the oak leaf specifically?

Legend says that Perun, one of the ancient Slavic Pagan Gods (think Slavic Zeus), had struck an oak tree, and it was said the oak tree was the only thing to have survived his lightning.

From then on, the oak tree became heavily associated with Perun.

There are three oak leaves for the three main Slavic branches:

The West Slavs, the South Slavs, and the East Slavs.

The flag features three white oak leaves, separated by three blue lines of the same width.

The flag uses the standard Slavic colours (blue, white and red).

Flags of my three micronations that i have for a sort of worldbuilding project.

These are the flags for the three of my micronations that i have as a part of a worldbuilding project:

The Chrisitandom of Abberrane, the White Doe Democratic Republic (WDDR), and the Kingdom of Rockford.

The flag of Abberrane features a green field with a cross made out of the Divine Wreath pattern in the middle.

The top and bottom arms are red for the sacrifice of the soldiers for the nation, the left and right arms are blue for a desire of peace.

The flag of the White Doe Democratic Republic features an emblem of the head of a white doe, on a blue background, with a black stripe on the bottom with 3 white stars on it.

Each star represents an idea:

One star for equality, one star for freedom, one star for justice.

The flag of the Kingdom of Rockford features a black field with 3 white stripes, and a yellow coat of arms with peacock feathers on it in the canton, as the peacock is their national animal.

The lore in a nutshell:

I run Abberrane, the WDDR raised out of a portion of the populace feeling like Abberrane is too controlling so after some disputes we agreed on semi-autonomy, and Rockford became a part of Abberrane because it was economically and geopolitically dependent on Abberrane.

The Abberranean numerical system.

So i decided to make a numerical system for the Chrisitandom of Abberrane (the Abberranean numerical system).

This numerical system shall be used alongside the standard Arabic numerals (0,1,2,3...)

Please do note that some numerals are subject to change, though, if i feel some other form might fit them better.

To be honest, i simply drew this rough sketch up out of boredom, and because i want my micronation to feel as original as possible.

What do you think?

My flag redesign for the Republic of Serbia: "the Bloodstained Peony".

I redesigned the flag of the Republic of Serbia in an attempt to move away from Byzantine symbolism and incorporate more 'indigenous' symbols.

Why did I redesign the flag?

I'm not sure if it’s just me, but the current Serbian flag feels a bit unoriginal. It’s a generic tricolor with a Byzantine eagle and coat of arms. I feel that, given the fact we have symbols more closely tied to our mythology, we could have done better. So, I decided to create my own 'more traditional' version.

I replaced the coat of arms with the famous Kosovo Peony (Paeonia Peregrina), but the key is that it’s composed of two other distinct symbols:

The 4 Firesteels (Ocila): I decided to keep our 4 firesteels, but I transformed them into the red 'petals' of the peony. I removed the cross because I couldn't find a way to fit it into this specific design.

Pirot Pattern: For the 'stamen' of the peony, I used a traditional Pirot pattern found on Pirot carpets (kilims).

These are a staple of Serbian (and South Slavic) tradition, allowing us to maintain our Slavic identity even though this design moves away from the original red-blue-white tricolor.

I chose this specific shade of blue because it resembles the color of a plum—the fruit used for our traditional Šljivovica (traditional alcoholic beverage).

Additionally, I removed the Byzantine eagle and the two golden fleur-de-lis.

Why?

These symbols are foreign. Research suggests the eagle is there primarily to claim 'Byzantine continuity,' and the fleur-de-lis were added in an attempt to fit in with Western heraldry.

Personally, I find that unnecessary since we aren't Westerners and shouldn't feel the need to copy them.

The civil flag features only an enlarged yellow Pirot pattern.

I named this redesign 'Bloodstained Peony,' inspired by the legend of the Kosovo Peony and its connection to the Battle of Kosovo in 1389.

All in all, I think they turned out pretty decent.

My flag for the Serbian region of Šumadija

I designed a flag for the Serbian region of Šumadija.

The entire bottom half is green, representing the dense forests that gave Šumadija its name (Šuma = Forest).

Above are four stripes: two golden stripes for the two Morava rivers (West and South Morava), which provided the fertile soil used by local farmers; and two red stripes for the two Serbian Uprisings (Orašac 1804 and Takovo 1815) that both started in Šumadija.

The canton features a plum, as it is the traditional fruit of the region, though there is also a version without it.

Prašnici božura su u obliku osmokrake zvezde, šest kraka simbolizuju prvih šest najvećih etničkih grupa na Kosovu i Metohiji, ali sam dodao još dve;

My flag redesign for Kosovo.

I decided to redesign the flag of Kosovo, as the current one feels rather uninspiring to me.

In the center is the Kosovo Peony, but the stamens are formed as an eight-pointed star. Six points of that star represent the main ethnic groups of Kosovo, similar to the six stars on the current flag, but I added two more:

one symbolizes the people as a whole, and the other represents Kosovo itself.

Why the Kosovo Peony?

Because the Kosovo Peony is deeply connected to Kosovo itself; it represents blooming after battle.

Just as the Peony bloomed after the Battle of Kosovo in 1389, the people can do the same.

To me, this makes more sense than using ethnically loaded symbols such as the Albanian eagle, as such symbols cannot represent the cultural diversity of Kosovo.

Therefore, I chose the most neutral yet most significant symbol; the Kosovo Peony.

The Kosovo Peony is shown on the second slide.

My flag redesign for Kosovo i Metohija.

I decided to redesign the flag of the Autonomous Province of Kosovo i Metohija!

Because the Kosovo Peony is deeply connected to Kosovo itself; it represents blooming after battle.

Just as the Peony bloomed after the Battle of Kosovo in 1389, the people can do the same.

To me, this makes more sense than using either the Serbian or the Albanian eagle, as the reactions to those would be terrible.

Therefore, I chose the most neutral yet most significant symbol: the Kosovo Peony.

The Kosovo Peony itself is shown in the second slide.

My simple flag redesign for Australia: "Stranded Paradise".

I've decided to make a simple flag redesign for Australia, which i call "Stranded Paradise".

So the flag features a diagonal split by a red line, the top left half a golden hue, the bottom right half blue.

In the left half is the Commonwealth Star (the 7 pointed star) from the original flag, replacing the Union Jack.

The red line symbolizes the hunting boomerangs used by the Aboriginals.

The flag is supposed to look like the island of Australia itself on the top left, with an ocean on the bottom right.

On top of that, gold and green are Australia's national colours so there is that.

I have another, simpler flag with just the green Commonwealth Star centered on the golden background, which i feel could be the civil ensign.

Abberrane wishes everyone a happy victory day.

On this day (for some a day before), we have triumphed against the Third Reich and severed off all its vile hands choking the idea of freedom.

May the Fascist eagle we shot out the sky serve as a reminder that those who encroach on freedom shall have theirs taken away.

My deepest condolences go to those who have suffered and died at the hands of the Fascist regime, for their deaths shall be remembered.

Never again.

I wish everyone a happy Victory Day!

My flag redesign for Russia

I redesigned the flag of Russia!

So it has a black background with a golden bordure, colours of the flag of the Russian empire.

In the middle, however, is a reinterpret version of the coat of arms, which includes Saint George slaying a serpent.

The serpent has spread out wings, and has a spear stabbing it right through the mouth.

The second slide features the flag of Moscow, prominently featuring the myth of Saint George and the serpent.

Over all pretty simple but i like it.

Introduction of the currency of Abberrane: the Burdle.

It is time the Chrisitandom of Abberrane officially adopted its own currency:

BEHOLD, THE BURDLE.

The Burdle shall be the official currency of the Christiandom of Abberrane.

There shall be 3 versions:

The Abberranean Burdle (CAB-Christiandom of Abberrane Burdle), which is the mainstream version.

The 2 other versions shall be issued to Abberrane's protectorates: The White Doe Democratic Republic, and the Kingdom of Rockford.

The White Doe Burdle (WDB) shall be used in the White Doe Democratic Republic.

The Rockford Burdle (KRB-Kingdom of Rockford Burdle) shall be used in the Kingdom of Rockford.

All 3 versions are interchangeable within Abberrane and its protectorates, though.

The minimum wage shall be 30'000 Burdles, middle income is 70'000 Burdles, and the highest wage shall be of 150'000 Burdles.

Although, every citizen shall be taxed of 5'000 Burdles a month.

Bank notes to be designed soon.

Electricity, heating and water shall not have any additional costs and are instead covered by taxes, as they are recognized as a basic human right.

Fun fact: the Burdle was actually the currency used by Rockford but it soon became the standard across all 3 nations (Abberrane, WDDR and Rockford)!

News regarding protests, conventions and "parades" within the Christiandom of Abberrane.

So, the Christiandom of Abberrane decided to put in some "guidelines" for protests and conventions, whether they are against what is thought to be an injustice, have a goal of raising awareness, or any other example i, the Executory Governor of Abberrane may have missed, as they can get uncontrollable at times.

Protests (most famous ones being "pride parades", "Black Lives Matter (BLM) protests", and conventions such as the "furry convention", "Comicons", et cetera) MUST NOT HAPPEN WITHOUT THE APPROVAL OF THE CHRISTIANDOM.

The punishment for unauthorized protests and conventions is a 300 Burdle fine and/or up to 5 months in jail.

Furthermore, if the Chrisitandom allows the protests/conventions to happen, they must not be excessively disrupting (for example being too loud), must remain indoors and must not block any vital streets (as they may occur on the streets which simply inconveniences everyone trying to commute).

Thank you for listening to the announcement, glory to Abberrane and all it stands for.
