Hint: it's NOT Serbia this time.

Dakle, očigledno je da je Mirijevo drugačije od ostatka opštine Zvezdare, na primer kaže se "idem u Mirijevo", a ne "idem u Zvezdaru", "Mirijevac", a ne "Zvezdarac" ili "Zvezdaš", itd.

Pritom, ja zapravo dolazim iz starosedelačke porodice u Mirijevu, tu, gde je sada Mirijevo I, već 200 godina, pa da, ima malo i lokalnog patriotizma.

Bez daljnjeg odugovlačenja, zapitao sam se:

"Kako bi izgledalo da Mirijevo ima svoju zastavu i grb, da više ne koristi zastavu celokupne opštine Zvezdare?"

Za taj scenario, zanemarićemo da naselja po običaju nemaju svoju zastavu i grb.

Dakle, ovo je moja zastava za Mirijevo, "Zlatni Vinogradi".

Logika dizajna je prosta:

Zlatna pozadina za zlatno klasje od vremena kada je Mirijevo bilo svoje zasebno selo, a crveno klasje u gornjem levom uglu predstavlja i vinograde koje je Mirijevo imalo pre urbanizacije, jer je jedno tek pre par vekova Mirijevo bilo znano za svoje vino, zapravo, ima smisla kada su brda idealna za vinovu lozu, još i pored čuvenog Mirijevskog Potoka..

Grb ima zelena brda sa vinom na dnu, i crveno klasje na vrhu.

I've redesigned a flag for Mirijevo, a region in Belgrade, the Republic of Serbia.

The flag contains a golden background, referencing the **fields of wheat** from when Mirijevo was still a quaint village.

The red ear of wheat represents the **historical vineyards** of Mirijevo, as Mirijevo was famous for its wine, rich in taste, from the vineyards.

The coat of arms has **cascading hills with rivers of wine flowing down** them, and in the upper half a **red ear of wheat**, from the flag.

The **green** stripe on the lower flag is an adaptation of the coat of arms.

I've designed this flag and coat of arms as my family has a 200 years long history of living in Mirijevo specifically, so this place feels important to me, important enough to have a flag and coat of arms made for it.

The Christiandom of Abberrane unveils new passport design as part of celebration of the first anniversary

It is time we gave our passport a refresh!

And what better time to do so than on our first anniversary?

The new passports shall include things like your picture, name, surname, D.O.B, and look! We have the electronic passport chip thingy now!

That's progress!

Btw our old passport is the 2nd one, for comparison.

I've redesigned the flag of Kosovo i Metohija, a disputed, semi-recognized territory in the Balkans.

In the middle is the Kosovo Peony, the flower native to the region, named after the Battle of Kosovo in 1389, fought by prince Lazar of the Serbian Empire, and Sultan Murad the I of the Ottoman Empire.

The legend states that these peonies, once white, absorbed the blood of the fallen Serbian knights, turning red.

It has been repurposed as a symbol of blooming after bloodshed, seeing as Kosovo went through a bloody war that affected both sides for the worse.

The neat thing is, the Serbs could also use this flag, seeing as there are no Albanian elements on it and the fact that the Kosovo Peony is not used as a nationalist symbol!

The current flag of Kosovo is in the second picture, while the Kosovo Peony is in the third.

The Christiandom of Abberrane officially adopted a vertical (banner) version of its flag, which shall be another valid way to display an Abberranean's patriotic heritage.

Seeing as the vertical arms of the cross are red while the horizontal arms are blue, save for the swap of colours in the middle to invoke our native symbol, the Krasnica, the valid vertical standard shall have the colour of these arms retained, while the colour swap in the middle is to be preserved.

I designed a flag for the Slavs myself, as i feel the current tricolour lacks originality.

In the middle is a stylized Linden flower, seeing as the Linden is regarded as an important tree in Slavic mythology, representing love and life.

Said linden has been stylized in a way akin to classic Slavic embroidery.

So i, the founder of Abberrane, decided to rank the flags of our ally micronations, based purely on how they look!

In the "please never change your flag" category is the Inland Pirate Kingdom and the Zvenigorod People's Republic.

In the "you couldn't make it better" category is Motossia.

In the "very nice" category are Gunaka, Luminaria, the Frederick Union, Matlandia, the Cheese Kingdom, United Land.

In the "nice" category is New Greenia.

Every other category is empty because your flags are all cool :)

(Just a disclaimer: this is all in my personal opinion and i still consider all of you as very nice people, no matter how your flag looks or what it's supposed to convey, this is just my personal opinion :))

The Christiandom of Abberrane adopts its standard license plate format today.

The license plate shall have a white background with a red, rounded border around it.

There is also a red separator, designed like our ethnic pattern, on the left, that separates the Abberranean coat of arms, and our country abbreviation-АБР, coloured red, from the rest of the plate.

On the right are three black letters on the top and bottom, and four random numbers in the middle.

The first three letters are actually city codes, so we can tell where the car is registered.

Now, of course, this one is for Surdača, the capital, so we write СДЧ.

Each city within Abberrane has its own three-letter abbreviation.

This is obviously a sample plate, the second and last column will have more variation when it comes to numbers and letters.

The Christiandom of Abberrane is proud to unveil its new design, for passports that our citizens shall be issued.

We ensured it is more up-to-date and added some more details, like the ethnic pattern on the right side, and the electronic chip on the left side.

We have also included a bilingual text, with Serbian and English, our two national languages.

Dizajnirao sam zastavu za Dorćol, opštinu u gradu Beogradu.

Dakle, samo ime Dorćola potiče od Turske reči "Dort Yol", što znači "raskrsnica od četiri puta".

Točak kočije u sredini to i predstavlja.

Kroz taj točak prolaze dve reke koje se ukrštaju, one predstavljaju Dunav i Savu, jer Dorćol drži njihovu raskrsnicu, a i dodatno podržavaju ideju o raskrsnici četiri puta.

I ako se iko usudi da napravi neslanu šalu na račun Romske zastave samo zato što dele točak kočije, ima automatski da vas smatram previše detinjastim za ozbiljnu raspravu :)
