Itadaki Street: Dragon Quest & Final Fantasy 30th Anniversary — English Translation (v1.1)

Itadaki Street: Dragon Quest & Final Fantasy 30th Anniversary — English Translation (v1.1)

Looks like a user Fishyfishyfishy on gbatemp created a fan translation for Itadaki Street. Keep in mind this just released, so there might be bugs.

It does look like they're continuing to tinker on it, so it might not hurt to wait for further updates.

From what I understand, there's also another user working on their own translation. Considering the nature of these games though, I think even passable translations should be fine.

Edit: changed resetera to gbatemp

Got a couple of hits at the Nintendo Museum. Seems like nice enough fellas, I like their pants.

I miss random events where Nintendo Miis would pop up on one's 3DS.

Moonlight / streaming to vita posts

Hi all,

Seems there's some thoughts on posts showing the Vita streaming other content (specifically games). So have your say:

Edit: Moonlight / Streaming flair has been created so long.

Megathread - Ports / games wishlist

Hi all,

Creating this so that there aren't multiple posts asking for ports / games / what have you.

You're free to chat about them here though.

A new rule has also been created (No.7) to send mod notifications for them.

I'll flesh out the text here a bit better in future to highlight what people should consider when asking / talking about ports as well. (For example, is it opensource, has it been decompiled, what type of android games can potentially expect wrappers)

SEGA Dreamcast - Newtown - Sunday 31 May

Anyone else keen on playing SEGA dreamcast tomorrow in Newtown at Camperdown park around 12:30pm? (I hope there's tables there)

I built a portable dreamcast and by gum I want some shenanigans with it. My other idea was potentially ending up with it at the Duke of Enmore but I have absolutely no idea how they'd react if I setup a Dreamcast in the back or the tables outside.

Edit for those that are keen on joining, gonna be closer to 1:15pm. Running a tad late.

Whelp, guess I finally found my modern dual screen solution

Retroid dual screen add on + steamdeck

I wanted a retroachievements DS device without using my tablet.

Undid the screws on the back of a retroid DS and extended the strings/latch out for a wider stretch. Can't tell you how many times they flung off. (Sadly couldn't get the Retroid DS one made for bigger devices)

I also have a proper Steamdeck grip back latch and magnetic sticker coming, but for now this sillyness will do.

(Bonus image: Hey ya'll, Quake here)

PC players - troubleshooting - any known fix for why this happens when the videos start playing in the menu?

Framerate jumps wildly and causes the resync/flashing as it adjusts. I assume it some kinda VRR/Gsync thing that isn't setup right. Can't quite figure out why it jumps between 49/52/144hz so extremely at these menus.

Hi all,

Not really sure where to bring this up but this might be a good place to ask for a direction to aim:

In our subreddit the original mod passed away years ago but their account has remained as an inactive one. (Still shows as inactive on the mod list)

Recently we noticed that it started approving posts and commenting in the subreddit itself, which comes to a shock to a number of us (Including people who knew the OG mod)

How... Can we... Investigate if this account has been hijacked? I mean we're certain at has been scooped up since it's been inactive for 2 years, but due to their position as the first mod we also can't limit their settings or remove them before they potentially do damage.

They have already willy nilly started approving posts we've removed for one violation or another.

Thanks in advance!
