I just started a sub, r/lowwinds and it’s for all bass instruments and any of you can join here: https://www.reddit.com/r/lowwinds/s/WBX87nSgUE
I have just created r/lowwinds, a sub about low instruments in wind bands. I was wondering if you guys had any tips for how to start a community and anything else I should know. Any help is greatly appreciated and thank you in advance.
So, I was playing Yardbird Suite and I decided to video myself playing it to ask the sub if they had any advice for me on how to sound better. Any and all advice is appreciated and thank you in advance, people of r/saxophone. Also, I would recommend turning up your volume a bit because I either played quieter than I thought or accidentally covered the mic.
Every post I’ve tried to make on their sub they remove after like an hour even though the post does well, which really pisses me off. It’s like they don’t want actually good posts and only the shit that’s on their sub gets to stay because it’s ’so bad, it’s ascended’ or whatever bullshit they’re telling themselves. The first image is what I posted btw.
For the intro, the first measure of the first and second endings are the same, so why rewrite it into both endings and not make each ending only the second measure of what it is right now?
I have a few more if anyone wants them but it only lets me post 20 at a time and I think if I make too many posts the mods will think I’m karma farming or whatever.
I took this pic earlier at WWTR before the race.
I tried using this one and others from Google but they’re all either blurry or don’t fit right. Any images would be appreciated. Preferably Jurassic Park era and not Jurassic World. (I like the originals better.)
