Chainsaw man is a masterpiece level manga
I said it and it really is
Especially part 1 and early part 2 and aging devil are beat out mid to late part 2 as really great parts of the series but now you can’t even say it’s a masterpiece without JJK fans saying that the series is good and shounenfolk mfs not being able to let go of unfunny ahh memes
It’s like 4 in the morning and I can’t explain it all rn but I just wanted to get it out there
Overall it’s a masterpiece level series with a bad written ending

It’s crazy how Chainsaw Man went from one of the best representations of SA in shonen to femdom
Like after the falling devil arc it went from best representation of male SA to femdom
With the exclusion of the aging devil arc later in the manga that was rly good

Like with Brian Burns, Jaxson Dart, Kayvon Thibodeaux, Abdul Carter, Arvel Reese, players from probably the best draft in the 2026 nfl draft, Jaxson Dart, Malik Nabers, Francis Maugoa, Darnell Mooney, Tremaine Edmunds, Cam Skattebo, etc. as your players
With a coaching staff of John Harbaugh as head coach, Matt Nagy as offensive coordinator, and Dennard Wilson as defensive coordinator, etc.
Is an insane lineup with tons of potential to be top tier and potentially unfair
They still have hurdles, definitely NOT next season, but maybe in a few seasons I can see them becoming a super team.

Maybe I just don’t get the character but he really seems like one
Like he can do anything with expert/superhuman level precision, he’s smart, he’s attractive, he’s strong, in his persona all of the girls like him besides the handler, and he’s popular in his persona of Loid
Maybe that’s the joke/subversion of Mary sue’s? And if it is how can u tell?
Or is he a high quality self insert or Mary Sue or both?
