Drone crashed while “returning to home”

Very sad day. I was being completely appropriate with my drone control. Saw it was low on battery so started heading back. While on the way, it immediately entered “return to home” mode and shot straight up into a tree with no warning.

DJI said they couldn’t help because I’m outside of warranty. This feels so wrong. The drone wrecked itself and it was completely out of my control.

I sent it in for repair and they wanted the cost of a brand new drone to repair it.

If anyone wants to buy this off of me for parts, I’d like to at least make some of it back so I can buy a new one. I wish they had been more helpful

Selling! 3 CDJ-3000s + 2 vintage flight cases

The CDJs work perfectly and have little to no cosmetic damage. Have been exclusively in the studio.

The flight cases are from the 70s and need to be refoamed, but they’re heavy-duty.
