First Dose DMSO Internally Report

Well, it always goes internally via osmosis, but I mean taking orally. I used 1 tsp in about 8 oz water, on an empty stomach. There was a slight warming feeling in my stomach in the first 30 min. I did not get the characteristic smell, but my diet includes brassicas, onion, and garlic, so my senses could be dead to that. No one else notices, or at least doesn't mention it, lol. Other than that I did not notice any particular effects.

Seeing the Dead

A friend who is Christian but not Catholic says he has been visited by his deceased girlfriend. I suspect it is a demon masquerading as the deceased girl. Am I correct?

How Long Do Stored Shingles Last?

I bought a house that has a stack of fiberglass 3 tab shingle bundles in the garage. They look to be leftover from when the garage was reroofed. They are probably 15-20 years old. There's probably 300-400 sq ft total. Can they still be used like new shingles? Garage is not heated or cooled but rarely gets over 85F in Summer.

DMSO and Hyaluronic Acid Combo?

Has anyone heard of this combination? Hyaluronic acid is already used in some eyecare products. There's talk of taking it internally to cure floaters. What about a combo of highly diluted DMSO with Hyaluronic acid as eyedrops, and maybe with some castor oil as well?

Centering Prayer Is Similar To Hawkins Letting Go

The purpose of this post is to show that Christians and Catholics in particular are safe following Hawkins methods. I think many Christians fall into the trap that if something is not overtly or singularly Christian, then it is new-age woo woo, or even demonic.

The Bible has many verses about dying to oneself to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. We now refer to that "self" as ego. The modern Church has mostly minimized actual methods of dying to the ego. What was once a true Lenten fast is now seen as merely abstaining from red meat one day per week.

Father Keating of the Catholic Church saw this issue and was studying The Desert Fathers who lived austerely years ago, and practiced meditation. He came up with Centering Prayer.

I have an excerpt below from one Keating's books that illustrates the similarity to Hawkins methods. Long story short, doing Hawkins method does not conflict with Christianity.

When to use it: Whenever you feel "unseated" by negative emotions (like anger or fear), physical pain, or even ego-driven highs (like the pride of winning an argument).

Step 1: Focus and Sink In Instead of getting lost in the story of why you are upset, move your attention entirely into your physical body. Scan your body: Notice where the emotion lives. Is your jaw tight? Is your breathing shallow? Is your chest heavy? Feel the raw sensation: Do not analyze, psychoanalyze, or justify the feeling. Simply sit with the raw physical sensation of the emotion.

Step 2: Welcome Counterintuitively, do not push the feeling away. Pushing it away gives it more energy. Instead, embrace it to create inner spaciousness. Name it lightly: Identify the sensation (not the situation). Welcome it: Gently say to yourself: "Welcome anger." "Welcome fear." "Welcome pain." Allow the feeling to be there without resistance. This physically shifts your nervous system from constriction to spaciousness.

Step 3: Let Go This is the final phase (the "coda"). Do not rush to this step until you have fully welcomed the sensation. Use this specific four-step litany to release the core subconscious programs driving the reaction. Repeat the following affirmations precisely: "I let go my desire for security and survival." "I let go my desire for power and control." "I let go my desire for esteem and affection." "I let go my desire to change the situation."

A Crucial Reminder for the Practice: The goal of this practice is not to fix the situation or to forcefully make yourself happy. The goal is to realize that even if this discomfort were to last forever, your core consciousness would be just fine. By letting go of the need to change the situation, you build true equanimity.

Is Meditation a Form of Letting Go?

I learned meditation years before learning of Hawkins, and Sedona methods of letting go. I never got fully into meditation, but was at it long enough to learn I didn't have to pay attention to thoughts if I didn't want to.

My mind started to form a habit of inward popping up of a resounding , "No" to negative thoughts, and my mind would then switch to the present. If I engaged with the negative thought, only then would I get the negative emotions. I wonder if this is just avoidance. After all I didn't allow the thought to develop long enough to welcome the emotional energy, so never allowed it to dissipate completely. Could that be a form of resistance....just a burial of the thought/memory/feelings?

Anyone doing sedona method releases first thing in the morning?

It seems like an optimal time when the intellect part of the mind is still a bit jumbled from sleep. I will be experimenting with it.

DMSO & Covid

Can we rationally discuss this here? I don't know if reddit still calls everything but the authorized narrative "misinformation". Since this subred is an alt-health type I assume it is ok here, but they may be under reddit orders to remove it.

I resisted pressure to get the vaccine. I'm rebellious toward authority in general, but I think it served me well. My job was considered essential so I continued to work during the Covid years.

I am Christian and prayed about it and felt a nudging from The Holy Spirit to not take the vax, and moreover to not wear masks. There was no wrath in my area for shopping or working unmasked, but online I was branded a "Covid-carrier" and told I was "killing grannies".

I rarely get sick, and I don't think I ever caught covid, but I never got tested or treated for any respiratory illnesses anyways, so I will never know. In those days I didn't know anything about DMSO.

I am pleased that I avoided that vax, but saddened about people in my age group who took it. If they had a chronic but mild illness it became worse. Dementia came on and accelerated with one woman. Another started having continual problems with her blood. I never found out the details but would not be surprised if it is inordinate clotting. There are more. All of them just attribute their issues to "old age". Since when does old age strike suddenly?

What are your views, and stories about Covid, the vax, and DMSO in relation to it?

I Took My First Dose of DMSO Orally

I believe in starting small with experiments. The dose was 0.5 ML pure DMSO(edited from 1ml to .5, because I remembered the dropper bottle was already 50/50 dmso and purified water and I took 1ml of that mix.) mixed in around 8oz filtered water, and I took it on an empty stomach, around 1/2 -1 hr ago.

I've read of people taking 1 tsp up to 3 tbs daily, but I started small to avoid any possibility of stomach upset.

I will update with any results I notice. Feel free to ask questions or give advice.

Do You Take DMSO Internally?

I know it goes internally through transdermal processes, but have you taken it orally? If so what were the results, and what way did you dose it? Do you consider it safe to take orally?

2004 Camry V6 Transmission Issues

I've had it for about 5 years. It has around 220,000 miles on the original 3.0 V6, and transmission. Trans fluid was a bit dark when I bought it, so I drained it and put in new Toyota trans fluid. It wasn't a flush, so probably half the fluid was replaced. It has gotten a bit dark again, but smells fresh still, and I haven't driven enough miles to justify another change.

What it's doing occasionally is hesitating on a particular shift, for example when slowing down to stop, and going about 5mph, but the light turns green and I give it some gas. It kind of clunks into 1st or 2nd...nothing loud. What could be the cause?

In the old days we sometimes would clean, or rebuild or replace the trans valve body. They are a maze of tiny passages with spring and ball valves. I'm thinking there could be a minor or partial clog somewhere in the valve body.

Is that my best course of action, or should I just let it go and see if it gets worse?

Letting Go Question

I practice letting go, as well as The Sedona Method release often. Last night I woke in the middle of the night with a distinct memory of a distant past time when I was deeply depressed. The feeling of that depression was not present.

I thought, if anything needs to be released, it is that depressed feeling, so I mentally welcomed it, but it would not arise. In the process of welcoming it, I fell back asleep.

So, what happened? My first guess is that perhaps that feeling has already been released. There is a slight inkling in my mind that the feeling is still there but too deeply repressed for easily welcoming it. What you you folks think?

How Do Your Friends & Family React To You Doing The Sedona Method?

So far I'm finding most people I know are just not interested in it at all. They politely listen, but ask no questions. Most think of their feelings, even past trauma as simply being themselves. Even basic psychological concepts like ego vs true self make no sense to them.

Keto and "The Munchies"

I assume everyone is familiar with THC induced munchies. I've had those who know about my keto diet ask, "What DO you eat when you get the munchies?" Well, first off I don't feel ravenously hungry like the old days before keto. If I do feel hungry I eat a keto snack or meal.

If any of you also partake of the aromatic herb, what do you eat for the "munchies"?

One of my hypothesis for people on the SAD seeking sweets after partaking is because it makes them feel tired, and the sugar is their natural pathway for energy. For us it is different.

Sedona and Somatic

Before I found out about Sedona, I was dabbling with somatic methods to deal with some lumbar and hip issues. My first attempts doing Sedona released a great deal of what was trapped in the hips and lumbar area. In somatic circles some say that trapped emotions can rise toward the mouth, perhaps to be then expressed vocally. I'm not arguing for or against vocal catharsis, but I think it may be true that subconscious stuckage can morph from pain to generalized anxiety(or anger, grief, etc).

I think that is happening to me now, so my job is to do a Sedona release on the anxiety. Prior to Sedona I would have thought I had to retrieve whatever memory caused the somatic effect and use logic to "figure it out".

Am I on the right track that Sedona facilitates and correlates with somatic work to some degree?

Insomnia

Bear with me please. Good sleep is crucial to good fitness. If you have overcome insomnia let me know what worked. I've found that if I don't exercise everyday I tend to have insomnia on the nights that I didn't exercise during the day.

Weightlifting I learned stimulates lots of wake chems in the body, so I don't do that in the evening anymore. Jogging 2-3 miles I can do just before bed with no problem.

I'd prefer to never have insomnia, but that's what works for now.

Questioning My Own Motives

Does questioning your own motives a lot happen to you? I mean, since starting Sedona. Since I started Sedona, I even dropped a long term hobby for a couple of months. There are all sorts of other things that I question as well.

The hobby I dropped was physical fitness. Of course my strength and endurance fell, but oddly I had no weight gain. I've always had weight gain when I took breaks from fitness.

Then a couple nights ago I was watching youtube, and there was a former fitness coach, that is now a spiritual coach with a video title something like, "Fat Loss Is A Spiritual Problem".

I've heard as one gets closer to true self, their body gets healthier. I guess that's what's happening to me. It would be nice if I could build muscle with Sedona(and not with lifting), but that's unlikely. If you have done that though, please report. My ego wants to know!

That's the battle and question that comes up over and over. "Why do I do this or that? Does it benefit my ego or my true self?" I've even been questioning my movie and TV series choices.
