This is my first ever animal crossing new leaf town that I started in august 2025. I honestly don’t love the placement of the town tree area and the map itself after seeing some of other peoples town layouts (though I would never delete my town anyway). What do you guys think of my map?
I’ve heard that some of the 3DS harvest moon games are pretty good and I was wondering which game I should start off with. All I know about the harvest moon series is that it inspired stardew valley, which I have played. I know literally nothing about the story or the gameplay of any of the games, so I will be going into this pretty much completely blind. If any of you have recommendations, that would be greatly appreciated!
I was wondering whether it’s still possible to get Miis with different colored pants besides the standard red and gray on an unmodded Wii? I’m not looking to mod my Wii at this moment, so is it still possible to get any other Mii pants colors? As you can see from the picture of my Mii Channel, the only colors I have is red and gray pants on my Miis.
I recently transferred both Minecraft and Red Dead Redemption 2 from my Xbox One to my Xbox Series S, but it won’t let me play them. Whenever I try to play either of the games it’s says “Do you own this game or app? If you bought this online, make sure you’re signed in. If you don’t have rights for playing it, you’ll need to get it at the Microsoft store. (0x803f8001)”. I have no idea why it is saying this considering I am able to log into and play both games successfully on my Xbox One, but I can’t play them on the Series S when I transferred them to the console. If anybody knows why this could be, please let me know.
I just started my first ever Pikmin game: Pikmin 1 on the Wii, but it really isn’t going well. I’m on day 7 and I only have like 5 spaceship parts found. Also, literally every time I try to fight one of the Bulborbs in the forest of hope like half of my Pikmin get wiped out. What am I even supposed to do? Every time I get near the water, all of my Pikmin decide it’s a great idea to jump into the water and die. I have gotten over 300 Pikmin, 200 have “died in battle”, and around 50 of them have been left behind. Clearly I’m doing something wrong, but I have no idea what.

I have never played a Pikmin game before, so I’m not too sure what to expect. From what I understand, the versions of Pikmin 1 and 2 on the Wii are pretty much just ported versions of the original GameCube games. I know literally next to nothing about the Pikmin series, is Pikmin 1 or 2 easier for a beginner to understand?
I just finished the special cup in Mario kart Wii 50cc, the last cup I needed to win to unlock baby daisy. I thought that you need to achieve 1st place in all four races to get a star rank? I got 1st place in every single race yet my rank for the special cup is a C? I’m not sure why it wouldn’t be a star ranking, if any of you know why this could be please let me know. It’s unfortunate because in this cup I had just gotten 1st place on rainbow road for the first time ever.
I have played every mainline animal crossing game before, and I started playing this one in around august last year. I feel like everyone makes this game out to be so much different and have so much more content than every other game in the series, but I don’t really get it. I’m just confused on what there is to do that is different from every other animal crossing game besides visit the island. I definitely like this game, (I have over 100 hours in it) but I’m kind of lost on why this game is considered the best in the series.
I honestly kinda suck at this game compared to most people, but I’m trying to unlock some of the time trials characters. I have beat the fast ghost on Luigi circuit, Mario Circuit and DS Desert Hills. I was wondering if there are any easy fast ghosts to beat? I found the DS Desert Hills fast ghost to be incredibly easy to beat, are there any others like that?
I’m have never modded a console before and I have been considering modding my Wii for a while now, but I was wondering if it’s possible to get all of the old apps such as the news channel or check Mii out working again? I’m not planning on pirating tons of games since I like collecting physical copies, but I would like to have the standard channels functioning again.
