I just found this sealed in the Used - New Arrivals bin. I never knew that you could buy SACD titles through BMG Music Club?

I spotted this old sign in the Hilltop district of Tacoma.

I have to wonder what they were doing at that clinic!

I just added the Jade Audio Level 1 to the now-nearly-all-FiiO stack.

This is my desktop system, so it’s powering some small Cambridge Audio bookshelf speakers and I have a small PSB powered sub. The Level 1 sounds fantastic to my ears powering small speakers.

The power brick is sitting on the floor under the desk. It’s nearly as large as the amp itself, but I guess that saves space on the desktop.

I do wish that the Level 1 had a headphone jack. That’s the reason I still have the O2 + SDAC in this setup. That’s a doorstop on top of it, weighing it down so that it doesn’t move around; a tip I picked up from John Darko.

When FiiO launched the modular hi-fi rack back in February, some of the marketing photos included a mockup of a component CD player. Have there been any updates on this going into production? Those images seem to have largely disappeared, so I'm wondering if they decided to cancel it.

I found it in the dollar bin. The disc and the card sleeve are both in great condition.

I realize this song is mostly hated around here, but if anyone is interested in having the Zombie collab on CD, it’s on the new “Idols (Complete)” release.

It has a punched barcode, but seems to be in perfect shape otherwise.

I am very much a CD first person. I will buy vinyl releases, but mostly only things that aren’t available on CD.

I like to celebrate Record Store Day by picking up items on the list that interest me, but on CD. I do usually end up getting a few things on vinyl every year as well.

Anyway, here is this year’s final RSD-inspired CD haul.
