I'm considering getting into Metta/Loving-Kindness Meditation, but I'm looking for practical guides to getting in-depth into it, prioritizing pulling it off from at least a somewhat secular perspective rather than getting too completely into the weeds of Buddhist theological theory

Long story short, I realized in recent years that I’m aroace with a strong tertiary attraction toward femme-presenting people, but given that me describing myself as “femme-oriented aroace” may mean I’ve possibly coined that microlabel myself, I have no idea how much representation for similar microlabels is around.

But if there is something that comes across as femme-oriented-aroace-affirming or something close, and preferably also celebrates the very concept of whatever identities are already being viewed through the lens of tertiary attraction, I’d love to see that

I’m coming back to my postgame playthrough after some time, and I’m considering recording a monster to name after Dolly Parton, although I’m indecisive on what would be a good fit, whether bootleg or otherwise.

My current plan may be to rename Kayleigh’s Decibelle, or bootleg hunt either Sirenade or the one DLC monster that’s a flying book, but I’m absolutely open to suggestions

I’ve lived in the county my whole life, but while I’ve been visiting the metroparks near the waterville/maumee area in recent years, I’m having trouble gauging which ones tend to have the most people around, and I think I want to start taking walks around more people.

By parks near the river, I largely mean Farnsworth, Side Cut, Fallen Timbers (both memorial and battlefield), and Oak Openings, and any connected directly to those; Wildwood would be a little too far north for me to regularly travel, and Howard Marsh might be more of a once-per-season trip for me

For whatever reason, Winter is probably my favorite principle largely because it's associated with the Elegiast, and now I kinda want to seek out literature that gives similar vibes, maybe involving a scholarly god of the dead, that sorta thing

I’m looking for fiction about someone becoming famous in some way/somehow getting positive attention from powerful people, and hating every minute of it on principle, resulting in them seeking a quiet life despite any fame or prestige, preferably to the point of actively declining social contact with powerful people because they’d rather be doing something absurdly mundane

Just today, I completed what may or may not be a nightwave challenge (it was SOME kinda challenge) in The Index that required me (and the other players on public) to win 3 rounds of The Index without letting the enemy score at all.

And then I can’t find that challenge nor whatever it yielded ANYWHERE. I checked Honoria and I checked the challenges that yield Steam achievements.

And then I noticed that there’s a Nightwave weekly that requires The Glast Gambit to be finished to see.

So I figure “lol maybe I’ll get a semi-free 7k nightwave standing if I start and finish The Glast Gambit this week”.

But when I joked about this elsewhere, someone expressed utter bafflement that I had gotten into the Index without finishing The Glast Gambit at all.

So is this a bug, or some artifact of changes to The Index since the release of that quest, or something else entirely? I’m genuinely curious now (not that that’s going to stop me from trying to get The Glast Gambit done this week regardless lol)
