Very frustrated with organic reach being cut off so early despite good signals

I wish I could attach photos here but I started a new band account and the first few posts I did in July all did well with reels of me playing guitar. Then I did a collab reel post with band members and that did really well. Then starting in like August, collab carousels did okay and eventually did poorly. Reels so far have TANKED. I was getting 1000 views minimum before even with 65% skip rate. So I improved hooks and video quality and now I’m down to 25% skip rate but reels are only being distributed to 15-30 people?! What is HAPPENING

Meta targeting for niche

Newbie here. I’m attempting to understand how to properly do special interest targeting for meta ads. I have a shoegaze/dream pop style band that will be releasing music at some point so I have spent some spare time over the past month studying meta ads. When it comes to interest targeting, I can’t target fans of any bands in these genres. I can’t even target Shoegaze as a genre. Closest I can get is dream pop, alternative rock, rock and indie rock as genres. Does this mean I would test creatives in each one individually? Is there no way to go more niche? Maybe lean into age? Or should I just leave it as broad as possible and let optimization do its thing? Thank you all so much! This sub is so helpful.

Dreampop Artist reviewers on Instagram

Hello! I am looking for new dreampop and I recently discovered a couple Instagram tastemakers like The Yellow Button who show me new artists I’ve never heard of before. Looking for reviewers that focus on dreampop! Any suggestions?

Is this more shoegaze or dream pop?

Hello I am too close to this to comprehend what the genre is. I was attempting to marry midwest emo style guitar and drums with shoegaze and I think it just came out as dream pop. But I feel like the shoegaze is prevalent enough that I can’t tell if it leans more that way than dream pop. Y’all literally the pros plz help lol

Didn’t realize I needed another drive

Korg Pitchblack - MAE Line Blur - modded Dunlop DVP4 - NHA Mocking Blur - Walrus Sloer - EAE Dagger - Strymon Dig - Digitech Jam Man Express

Really started getting into stereo between my Hiwatt and my Delta Blues. Haven’t found a more fun stereo delay than the DIG. 2 years with the major core players has left me in a very experimental place as I’m super happy with the signal path. May not look it but this board has chorus and all manner of modulations for days. Tried all kinds of stereo tremolos, reverbs and whatnot to see how I could get expand the stereo field, Everything ultimately took away from the glory of the DIG. Decided to try something earlier in the chain and got the Mocking Blur on a whim. The smeary delay modulation is cool but where it really shines imo is as an overdrive. I love high headroom drives that respond to pick attack. Slamming the Line Blur into the Mocking Blur is EPIC. Add in the Dagger and forget about it. Incredible dynamic gain staging in this dirt section. A 3rd gain stage was an ingredient I didn’t know I was missing after all these years. I feel like a bunch of y’all would be like “DUH”. But I’m glad it was the mocking blur as it makes my amps sing and the little delay modulation adds a lovely movement/pad. Really thought I had it all figured out. It’s good to experiment with pedals even when you think you got your sound dialed in.

Looking for a diff kind of pedal demo

There are so many pedal demoers out there on YT and socials. Is there anyone who explicitly shows how certain pedals work together? I personally love Collector//Emitter because he has the “Will it Shoegaze?” and “Ambient Ruminations” series where he will show how 2-3 pedals can be used together to lean into a specific genre. Noise Generator also posted that epic “shoegaze mini board” video a long time ago that is still just so informative and helpful. I personally would like to see more content like this as it helps inform building more pointed pedalboards and inspires creativity in my own music making.
