I’d like to add a second monitor to my setup. Should I or not?

I’m a photographer and spend a lot of time editing in DaVinci Resolve and Lightroom.
Right now I use a 14” MacBook M4 with a 27” BenQ PD2725U, and I’m considering buying a second 27” monitor so I can close the MacBook and work only with dual displays.
What do you guys think? Would dual 27” monitors improve workflow and productivity for photo/video editing, or is one enough?

Four years ago at Gare de Lyon, I found one of the most powerful frames I’ve ever captured with my Ricoh GR III.

I noticed this incredible shaft of light cutting through the station’s urban darkness and waited several minutes, knowing the right subject would eventually step into it. Then this woman appeared her flowing traditional African dress moving perfectly with the wind, creating a striking contrast between elegance and motion.

What makes this image even more meaningful to me is how many layers of the moment came together naturally: the graffiti grounding it in the city, the face mask instantly marking the COVID era, and the dramatic light transforming an everyday scene into something timeless.

For me, this photo captures not just a person walking through light, but an entire period, atmosphere, and story in a single frame.

Still one of my favorite Ricoh GR III shots to this day.

Tell me what do you think??
