FL The Neon Sky

Absolutely obsessed! They look so good together. I haven’t read these yet but they’re right up my alley. Saving them for spooky season. Also FL’s shipping has greatly improved. I got a notification on Thursday it shipped and it arrived today!

Is anyone elses aussie essentially heat intolerant?

My dog really hates the heat unless she's at the beach (even then it has to be the evening). Yesterday we had a pretty cool day and she was like a different dog. Went on multiple long walks, played with her ball a lot, just so much peppier. It makes me realize how much she really dislikes the heat. I feel like she's bored a lot in the summer because she doesn't ever want to go for walks (that and she associates warm weather with fireworks at night and then is also sometimes afraid to go at night). Is anyone else's aussie like this?

Twilight Hungarian Special Edition

This might break my rule about not ordering SE's in other languages. This is breathtaking.

Everheart scratch and dent sale?

I’m finally off their waitlist as of May, and I’m wanting to get Blooms of Darkness in the scratch and dent, because I LOVE the design of the other 2 books. But I’m just concerned about what the quality will be like. Has anyone ever bought anything from a previous scratch and dent? What should I expect?

What was the one spiritual thing you did that really made a big impact on your life?

After 15 years of being on a spiritual journey and devoting most of my life to being more fulfilled spiritually, I feel like there is still something missing. I've explored various spiritual paths, meditate, yoga, gnostic christianity etc.

If you had to guess, how old would you say my dog looks?

Her age is a mystery as she was adopted. I’ve had her for 5 years this November. She just started within the last year to get a few small grey hairs around her eyes. I’m curious what everyone thinks she appears based solely on her looks :)

Any recommendations for soft summer shorts that are comfortable?

I hate denim shorts, and have a few pairs of like sweatpants type shorts. They're mostly fine, but the waistband can be a sensory ick at times. I am looking for something thats not super short but is above the knee, soft, stretch with not a huge waistband. wondering if anyone has found anything like that?

Pretty Book Display

I saw a few people use these ikea greenhouses for a book display and I loved the idea. I really like how this came out! I’ll add more books soon, just deciding which ones ✨🧚

ACOTAR 6&7 Heirloom

Does anyone know how Heirloom is able to do these edges? Do they get to know the plot/topics of these books since they're a book company? The edges look incredibly specific, to whatever the books will be about. The pegasus? Helion? I'm just wondering if anyone has an idea about this.

Bad Women Books Spellshop

Received this today and it’s gorgeous! I know this book box has had some issues in the past, but everything looks great. I did end up canceling the sub after I received this book though.

Do you have friendships that you feel you contribute more to in a sense of growth?

I have what I would say are pretty good habits. Because I am chronically ill, taking care of myself is of the upmost importance. I also am knowledgeable about doctors, reading blood/tests etc. I have a friend that has adopted many of my habits, and it's great, I have realized that I have positively impacted this persons life, but sometimes it feels one sided. I'm always the go to support person, but I tend to keep things to myself or don't harp on stuff out loud, so my support needs go forgotten. I do recognize that it's on me to share and ask for support, but sometimes it's tiring always being the person who helps, and rarely gets help. Does anyone else feel like that?

Question about dupixent

My doctor suspects I have EOE. I’m getting an endoscopy in July. However I’m already on dupixent for eczema. Would this mean the treatment doesn’t work for me? How often do you take it for EOE?

Found a tick on me on Thursday, it was found to be a lone star tick. I have to do testing in a few weeks, but I wanted to ask what your symptoms were and how long before they appeared.

I removed the tick but part of it got stuck, so I had to go to urgent care for them to dig it out. The tick was sent for testing and found to be a lone star tick. I just want to know, how long if you get the allergy, does it actually develop? I am a vegetarian but I do consume dairy. I already have an epi pen because I have a host of other medical conditions and mast cell disorder. I just want to know if there's a timeline to be aware of?

Has anyone ever had an esophageal manometry done?

I have been having increasing trouble swallowing food. I did a swallow study which showed some issues in my esophagus muscles (shocker). My doctor wants to do another endoscopy to do biopsies to see if it could be an auto immune disorder related to esophagus inflammation, but she also is ordering the manometry study to check the muscle function. The idea of the test sounds terrifying, she said it isn't painful though. Want to hear everyone's experiences.
