Main Tenu Phir Milangi✨

I remember telling my friend recently how my writing is composed of 95% me and 5% fiction.

And honestly, sometimes it feels like I expose myself too much through my writing. Jitna mujhe mere apne log nahi jaante, utna shayad mere words ke through aur log jaan jaate hain.

There is nothing wrong with that, but being an extremely introverted and socially selective person, and having writing as a way to release my emotions, it sometimes feels too personal.

Until I listened to this one-hour storytelling session by Laksh Maheshwari.

And oh my god, my heart feels so full.

Knowing that writers like Sahir Ludhianvi and Amrita Pritam have put so much of their heart and life into their craft made me look at writing differently.

It felt so beautiful to realise that songs like Abhi Na Jao Chhod Kar or poems like Main Tenu Phir Milangi are not just pieces of art or craft. Somewhere, they carry the lives, loves, heartbreaks and stories of the people who wrote them.

And suddenly, my own writing didn't feel like oversharing anymore.

Maybe writing has always been about leaving little pieces of yourself somewhere in the world. And perhaps that's not something to be afraid of.

If you love writing, or even if you simply love listening to stories, please give it a try.

Sometimes the universe really does randomly give you answers to questions you never even asked.

"Not every 'what if not' deserves more attention than a 'what if it does.'"

There are days when even breathing feels heavy.

Not because of any particular reason, but because of the uncertainty I carry inside.
Because of the questions I ask myself.
Because of the self-worth I sometimes doubt.

It happens most when I'm deeply focused on one thing. My mind begins to whisper,
What if it doesn't happen the way I want?
What if everything goes wrong?

I've found myself in this place many times.
And although these moments keep finding their way back to me, I've also learned—and I'm still learning—how to face them.

I remind myself to breathe.

Sometimes, that's all it takes.
A deep breath.
A gentle affirmation.
A small pause to calm the storm within.

Most of the time, things aren't as bad as they seem.
It's just our mind caught in an endless loop of what if not.

And that's exactly when we need to ask ourselves a different question:

What if it happens exactly the way I want?

Maybe the chances feel as small as 0.01%.

But they still exist.

And sometimes, hope only needs that much to keep going.
