Sad day. Will be retiring my mk4 golf for the foreseeable future. Until I can decide if I still want to fix it or sell it on.

Owned my PD150 for 9 years now on 155K

Had nothing but problems with it all honesty. From a replacement engine. Down to all bushes, exhaust and suspension being replaced.

Financially it's been really bad and I should have scrapped it years ago. Especially when I blew the engine up.

Theres a lot that needs sorting. Bodywork being the main thing. I daily it and it's just in the garage too much getting fixed for me to enjoy it anymore.

Then to add to my woes it needs the struts coming apart again because x2 mechanics have absolutely bodged it when they replaced the parts.

Theres a strong love hate relationship and as of late it's just been purely hate and no love.

It's got character and the colour concept interior, genuine rear valance genuine R32 Wheels. It's not the worst MK4 out there. But it ain't winning any awards anytime soon that's for sure.

Maybe ill come back here if I decide to fix it up and modify it further.

I have just fitted a brand new hybrid and seems a shame to waste it. But like i said uneconomical to fix and think it's time for a change.

Amplitude $AMPL

Just looking at the fact it's been beaten down for so long. Just felt poised for some upside. Bought some on a gut feeling. Here we are. Who knows if it will continue but here to see anyways.

I have basically 26 shares for $11.38

It was lower but dumped ondas after that dump before it went negative and just bought more $AMPL

Im so fed up of this car. Think it's time to retire the PD150.

In the last year ive had

- New arb bushes

- New suspension

- New droplinks

- New alloys

- New exhaust

- Manifold gasket done

- New hybrid Turbo

- New track rod ends

- New ball joints

- "Used'wishones and polyflex

So today, I was getting the wishbones done and he's pulled the top mounts off to grease them. Long story short they've just disintegrated in hands and now need New ones.

Car needs tracking again and the bodywork is bloody awful. Not as bad as some and definitely not as rusted as others it's fairly clean for a MK4

Im just torn on what to do. Do I keep fixing it and get it resprayed or just park it up and forget about it for a year or so sort myself out and stop funneling money into a car that doesn't seem to want to work and is sat on 155K.

So I've been in crypto quite a few years. Back when dot first launched on ICO and went to $55 straight away. Crypto back then felt like a completely different market to today and not in a good way.

Welp the crypto markets. Other than BTC all alts have been rather atrocious. No altcoins im aware of have even put a dent on BTC's performance.

Back when dot launched in 2020, things like staking were still new, you could easily sign up to tier 2 exchanges like Gate.io and Kucoin and buy absolute crap. Long and short stuff for x100 leverage. You could speculate and have a blast just buying and looking into random shit.

I actually miss the days of rug pulls. Shitcoins and speculative gambling that COULD actually work out.

I remember thinking about the staking and how nice it would be to invest in dot and compound staking rewards. It become a pretty hot topic for all networks considering staking with the idea your users/consumers could live of the APR in the long run. It sounded attractive.

Fast forward to 2026 and I have honestly lost all hope in this " asset " every recovering to its former glory days. Crypto is so locked down these days, i can't even view binances website because of regulations. Theres no shit coins to fuck about with and the atmosphere in the space is miserable.

Then I come back to DOT, why? Because if DOT hasn't been successful yet. Then theres no reason for to think any other project is "better"

Yeah solana went up and people got paid but they also just made their network into one big meme chain. I would not like "my network" to be known as a playground for pump and dumps that has a history of downtime, but then again as least sol has users even if it is just for memes.

I might buy BTC only from here on owt. I don't think theres liquidity there to pull the thousands and thousands of shit coins out the water

I'll stick around for polkadot to see where it progresses and it's price action but I won't be buying any shares.

Don't buy the Virtual Clocks from DBcustoms.de Been waiting over 3 months still no car clocks.

So I sent the aliexpresss car cluster back in hopes I would be able to get the "better" dbcustoms.de clocks. He sorted out ordering them straight away and initially all seemed promising and he told me 2/3 weeks.

It's been three months and no sign of virtual car clocks.

I messaged 3 other people yesterday who ordered clocks and none of them have recieved their clocks. I've now disputed the transaction and doing a chargeback as theres no else left to do and the 3 other people have been waiting 6 months.

They look flashy/ custom interface / custom housing. But absolutely no one has a set other than dbcustoms.de and now im not even sure if they actually exist or some weird AI video cause surely 6 months the clocks should be at his unit.

It's a shame I really wanted the clocks.

Would anyone be able to help identify this component ? Marked UMT4 R6G - Seems to be a voltage regulator of some sorts.

Stuck with a broken/shorted component i believe is a voltage regulator. Any help is appreciated.

Unsure if I came across cheaters last night or not. 3 men on a sloop with ungodly about of enhanced cannonballs.

So me and a friend were running a sloop, we're still new to the game and basically we went to go an attack another sloop parked up on the island.

There was 3 players on a sloop, to add to this they had an obscene amount of Purple balls and Fire balls and Scatter Balls.

They even had one of them Sleep balls, First I've seen it used and ive done quite a few missions and fights and not once has anyone hit me with a "Sleep" ball.

Now according to the game and google, these green and purple cannaballs are rare and hard to get because they have obvious stronger abilities.

Now, when we was fighting it wasn't 1 balls it was like 5 purple, followed by about 7 firebombs and shit ton of scatter balls, then hit with a Sleep ball. I've never seen us sink so quick, was surreal to be honest.

if it's legitimate playing then fair play. Im still new but it seemed sus to have that much "Enhanced" cannonballs considering they're meant to be hard to get.

Everything seems to be correctly positioned but for some reason im getting a "Twang" on full lock like something slips and then snaps back.

Apparently the guy said when he fitted his lowering springs it was the same and that it just needs to "Settle" anyone else been through simillar ?

Annoyed at myself for breaking the pad for a 2nd time repairing. Changed the port and then did this.

So originally changed the port. It didn't work, turns out you need a special ps5 pad usb c port. Should have checked first. No biggie, did it all again and put the right port on, and it works. Soldered down nicely.

The light button was sticking, top left, so I pulled it apart so I could clean the button (control was really grimey)

So I put it back together and put the two black screws in as im sure they held the touchpad. Now im thinking I was wrong and that it was two silver screws. Either way, im going to recheck but had to order a new one to fix the touchpad. At least the motherboard came off easy enough.

So im now £20 deep in a pad that should have been a nice quick and easy £3 port replacement.

I'm just annoyed at myself this should have a fairly easy task and I feel like ive cocked it up. At least it can still be repaired.
