True Fact: The “P” in PEQ-2 stands for “portal”.
Now that’s thinking with portals.
There’s just enough room under the PEQ-2 mounted on the u/UnionEngineeringWks mount to pass the tape switch cables to the other side.

(Left to right - Ergo, Spitewerx V1, Spitewerx V2 Blem Prototype “Blemotype”)
EDIT - I paid for the first grip, and Spitewerx gave me the second to test and provide feedback. He did not ask me to share or post about it.
Psst. Hey, hey you. Do YOU want a grip for your EBR that is actually comfortable? Do YOU want a grip with a nicer angle and a better shape? Do YOU despise finger grooves? Do YOU hate you were playing Modern Warfare 2 during the 2008 crisis instead of buying guns and thus missed out on the cool, now-retro versions of stuff available today?
Then u/Spitewerx has a grip for you.
Pros
- More comfortable angle for general use
- More comfortable shape
- Retro look
- No finger grooves
Cons
- Takes a few installs and removals to really get it fit to your chassis.
Material
- These are 3D printed glass-filled nylon 6.
I have an M14 EBR I take to run and gun matches. And while the Ergo grip does it’s job it wasn’t ever really quite “right”. It’s a bit too long and a little slab-sided. And I don’t like the finger grooves. Then I happened to see Spitewerx was working on making an improved, retro-aesthetic grip and snagged the first version. Much better angle, much better shape. Could have used a little more texture but everything else is so nice, I could live with it. This V1 grip has endured multiple shorter competitions as well as Marauders 2025.
Then, the legend let me get the Blemotype of Gen 2 to try out - and it’s even better! It’s a little fatter, takes grip plugs, and the texture is better than the previous version too. I find the current version as easy to keep hold of as the ergo version texture-wise while being more comfortable.
If you’ve got an EBR I can whole-heartedly recommend giving it a try.
Does anyone who has a new/newer 226 Scorpion know if the frames have the lugs/rails on them for a magwell like the newer Elites and Legions? I have a build idea in mind and a magwell is part of it.
I had a friend’s magnifier behind the Holosun EPS. Distance should be 15 yards. Far better than I could do with a pistol. The Gigliotti trigger also makes this thing so much better to use.
TL:DR : GRW Plunger Charging Handle seems to hold holt slightly rearwards and cause a lot of rattle.
So, while I wait for the connector to arrive from the absolute GOATs at B&T AG, my Giglioti Charging Handle and SST showed up. Figured I’d mess with them now just to know what to do when the spare parts show up. After watching the youtube video on how to install and uninstall, and marveling at how nice the GRW handle feels to run, I noticed my TP9 seemed more rattle when I handled the gun.
The only thing I can seem to figure out is the GRW handle might be holding the bolt back slightly compared to the factory handle. If you compare the indicated roll pins in the pictures to the sharp edge below them as the metric. I can replicate the rattle with the factory handle by pulling back on the bolt slightly.
Has anyone else experienced this? Am I missing something?
Howdy, I’m the guy who posted about having a broken BT-30155 yesterday. After doing as much looking as I can, including at least one person who also had a broken one and says their TP9 still worked with a broken one (mine also kept functioning)…what does this part even do?
Kinda shocked that it seems to be MIM.
Back in 2022, there was some hubbub per TFB and Soldier Systems that Lantac UK had been getting some traction w/ UK SF. The submitted rifle looked like this - then nothing came of it. Does anyone know if this handguard is a commercial product, or something that might be close to it? I always thought it looked sick.
