Custom painted and weathered 1/12 scale Shoretrooper model kit by Bandai

I know this isn't technically an "action figure" so I hope it's okay if I post this here but a friend of mine asked me to paint up and weather his Shoretrooper model. It was a lot of fun to work on. He was so stoked to get it back. I even used an old shirt I cut up and used as the fabric around his waist. I glued thin metal wire to the edges of the fabric for some posability.

Goblin Bust

This is completely unrelated to anything but i just wanted to show off this low poly 3D model project ive been working on in picoCAD 2.

I made a bust of a goblin. I couldn't decide if i wanted to do a bust or the full body. But a problem i usually have is I keep wanting to add more and more little details so if i wanted them to show up properly id have to stick with a bust. The facial features were the most difficult part. took weeks to dial in to look just right.

I get questions a lot about the shading. its a feature of the program that you can toggle on and off as you model.

This was a really fun little project. Made a bust of a goblin. I couldn't decide if i wanted to do a bust or the full body. The facial features were the most difficult part. took weeks to dial in to look just right. Everything else kind of just fell into place after that. Its hard for me to say when its done too. I feel like i could add more and more to it but sometimes you just gotta force yourself to say its done otherwise itll get too busy.
