Something I REALLY like about this game

Nothing is stopping you early to go to the late-game areas to get whatever you need. Sure you might have to challenge some bosses but their patterns arent that hard to learn.

This is what I like the most about this level design and also something Ive never seen done that well in other soulslikes.

Demi-Humans tending a fire so they can attract smoldering butterflies to make their fire pots

Little bit of environmental storytelling

The description for mushrooms seems to foreshadow SOMETHING from the DLC...

Maybe we're all crafting materials to the gods, man

Déraciné's story is beautiful and eye opening but I have some questions

I feel that this game could still be analysed today like any other Fromsoft title. Sadly, the game was already niche at release and now its kinda forgotten. Which means that if I have questions about the story I might never have answers.

Like how did the body got out of the water ?

Was I the evil fairy ?

What was the Headmaster plan all along?

And im still blown away by the Fiona Macleod/ William Sharpe thing lol

Heroes 3 and how it subtly changed my gaming tastes

I love roguelikes and it took me a lot of time to realise why. Choosing between upgrade every levels, procedurally generated environment, restarting from zero, trying something new and seeing where the RNG will bring me.

I got nostalgic for some old school pc games this year and went back to HOMM3 since it was my favorite as a teen. I start the game, do a procedurally generated map, start choosing between two upgrades every levels, begin new games to try something new and see what the RNG will be this time.

I think this game just never really left me honestly!

Weird question at the combine

One team, who will remain nameless, asked a player a really weird question:

If your teammates and you were in a hotel room with a drunk girl and they wanted to run a fucking train on that girl ,even if the line of consent isnt clear, would you fucking do it?

The player said no.

The team called him a Debbie Downer and a goober. They then told him he will never play for them except if he one day commits an unforgivable crime.

The soundtrack is eerie and beautiful

The guns sound perfect

The 3d audio is extremely precise

The dual sense helps adding more punch to every sound effects

I could go on and on...
