These are....a mixed bag

Bought them both loose from a seller on Mercari and...I kinda regret it

For starters, CE Chief doesn't have the weapons he came with, so I have to use an Infinite AR as he came with another version of that weapon (gave the other to Halo 4 Chief). As for Linda-058, everything is in rude health...until I saw that she's missing the storage panel on her left thigh and the sniper rifle is warped

Also, the CE Chief is the one with the useless knees

So yeah. I like them, but I also regret getting them for these issues, particularly the useless knees on CE Chief

I like both, but if I was to choose at which is better, I gotta say it's Halo 4 Chief. Joints are better with posing as Infinite Chief has a floppy left arm that doesn't help at all. And the peg on the back of Halo 4 Chief can be hidden as opposed to Infinite Chief

I wanted to update the Henshin Belt Rose to be like the belts from Zeztz, where they're worn on the chest. The idea stems from the lore that I built around this where it was once an Atlas military project that was scrapped, but was revived when Ruby was given the augmentations to survive after fighting the Hound (this isn't strictly canon to RWBY itself).

As for the suit, I needed to up my game and make it look like it very advanced with the mesh detailing (the dark grey parts on the arms, legs and midsection)

This figure is better than the Infinite Master Chief, and is another one of my favorite designs of John-117

Nothing is loose, articulation is good (head is a bit stiff to move), weapons are okay (not a fan of them, but happy they're included. Way to expand Chief's arsenal), and shiny chrome visor is cool. Oh, and the colors do match the in-game model well

I also got this figure as I love Impact Props' Living with Chief skits and the Band of Spartans video they did, which all had this armor of Chief

I did add some fan made stuff of Yang into this such as my New Avengers, Kamen Rider and Wrestler Yang looks. It would be too empty with just her current three designs and her Chibi self

Now, no one went to the Ever After in this AU. Jaune took inspiration from The Girl Who Fell Through the World story and had his armor and weapons done up like this, but the scratches in the shield are real from the battle against Salem's forces.

He's now the leader of the Revolution, a resistance group that battles the Atlas military, but were suffering a lot.

Until the New Avengers arrived and helped turn the tide. He was briefly seen and has been mentioned in Red like Roses, but not having any real major role

For Reconstruction, he will, along with Nora and Ren

Gotta admit, very nice figure for my very first Master Chief. I have been exposed to Halo much more thanks to Red vs Blue and I only played one game: Halo Reach.

I have seen the Halo Legends anime anthology, which was a fun watch, and Impact Props' Living with Chief skits. Not to mention that I love Breaking Benjamin's song, Blow Me Away, which appeared in Halo 2

So, this figure represents all of that.

It all started with Red vs Blue

I only bought it for the G2 repaint of Sideswipe, but Slamdance and Trenchfoot are great in their own right.

If you haven't gotten the set, I recommend you do. It's a nice set even though it's all repaints
